This will end The Sun newspaper.

Gone forever.

I very much doubt it. Hence the not naming.

It's about making the BBC squirm for the likes for Bolty to get all hot under the collar about as they are easily led to that particular trough. No idea why, its still one of the things we should be proud of in our country - but then people watch GB News and Fox if they want their on vile fed back to them.

The public don't have the full picture - deliberately so - and until we do it's probably best to put on ignore and focus on news that does matter unless anyone wants to boringly grind BBC axes.

Well I for one think Huw Edwards should present tonight’s news with his pants round his ankles. They could adjust the desk and camera angles so we could all see.

And wear a tshirt that says

“I ❤️ the BBC (nudge nudge) 😉🍆

Is it though?

Why did the bbc suspended and innocent presenter?

An unknown lawyer says it's bollocks but the parents and the sun sat not.

Mileage in this yet.

There is, but not because of the actual story.

Just for a few fact checks. They have to suspsend anyone who has alligations against them as a matter of course whilst they review. They would be remiss not to.

The Lawyer is not unknown, the Sun will not have paid yet but trust me if there is a story in this, payment will be promised down the line. That's how it works.

I didn't believe folk still swallow stuff, seems its still easy to stir a pot and the public follow like begging dogs.

Then why did it take several weeks to suspend the presenter, given the complaint was made mid May?

The lawyer is unknown and it is relevant because the victim would need (potentially significant) cash to pay for them. Where did the cash come from?

The Sun have said no payment will be made- that is a fact and has been reported widely. Of course that may change in the future, but for now it is simply an ssumption on your behalf, the sort of thing you claim the public are begging for.

Oh, and the police have launched their own investigation.

Whichever way you choose to look at it, the BBC don't come out in a positive way. Following two sex related criminals on their books, you'd expect a far quicker and more thorough response.

Employment law

suspend an employee while any investigation involving them is underway

common practice

You're going to be positively apoplectic when you hear about all the "sex related criminals" in the Conservative Party...

Because you need to invstigate the validity of the complaint. If you checked off air everyone who had something thrown at them you'd just have re-runs of Dad's Army on a loop.

The Lawyer isn't unknow - its the lawyer for the 'victim'

Yes no payment HAS been made....as I say, it's how it works.

The police have to once an accusation has been made

As say say, you can swallow this stuff or not - it's easy to find out the actual details of the processes.

Another person with similar complaint against same person.

BBC news reporting that they have seen communications made by the presenter and young person.

Non story.

ill tell you what, lets put this another way

its not something that should be headline fucking news while your tory mates are stealing PPE money and treating immigrant kids as pawns

that better?

Migrant kids?

The ones protected currently you mean.

As for the other bit, it was headline news at the time and as we've all discussed previously, any criminality should be prosecuted.

Now evidence of another potential serious bit of criminality by a BBC presenter- now you may not think that's headline news, but many do.

Maybe you're just a bit soft on sex offenders, but that's your cross to bear.

Poor effort

If i wasnt bothered about sex offenders id be much more likely to vote for your lot

But do i care if somebody over 16 wants to send dick pics and get 35k for it, then no, i really dont

And that, of course, is if thats what has actually happened

And that's the rub, we don't yet, but the Sun has got some folks all in a lather.

I'd be surprised now if the shit rag isn't sat on loads of names and screenshots and that the presenter wasn't into industrial levels of Grindr use.

The word "nonce" is being (and has been in recent years) getting thrown around far too easily though.

Feels a bit spineless that The Sun can basically throw this out there without the name. Do they have enough evidence or not?

No they don't, but they have enough to spark their anti BBC followers.

It'd be boring if there wasn't so many people willing to swallow their crap.
