I very much doubt it. Hence the not naming.

It's about making the BBC squirm for the likes for Bolty to get all hot under the collar about as they are easily led to that particular trough. No idea why, its still one of the things we should be proud of in our country - but then people watch GB News and Fox if they want their on vile fed back to them.

The public don't have the full picture - deliberately so - and until we do it's probably best to put on ignore and focus on news that does matter unless anyone wants to boringly grind BBC axes.

There is, but not because of the actual story. 

Just for a few fact checks. They have to suspsend anyone who has alligations against them as a matter of course whilst they review. They would be remiss not to.

The Lawyer is not unknown, the Sun will not have paid yet but trust me if there is a story in this, payment will be promised down the line. That's how it works.

I didn't believe folk still swallow stuff, seems its still easy to stir a pot and the public follow like begging dogs.

Then why did it take several weeks to suspend the presenter, given the complaint was made mid May?

The lawyer is unknown and it is relevant because the victim would need (potentially significant) cash to pay for them. Where did the cash come from?

The Sun have said no payment will be made- that is a fact and has been reported widely. Of course that may change in the future, but for now it is simply an ssumption on your behalf, the sort of thing you claim the public are begging for.

Oh, and the police have launched their own investigation.

Whichever way you choose to look at it, the BBC don't come out in a positive way. Following two sex related criminals on their books, you'd expect a far quicker and more thorough response.

Because you need to invstigate the validity of the complaint. If you checked off air everyone who had something thrown at them you'd just have re-runs of Dad's Army on a loop.

As for the other bit, it was headline news at the time and as we've all discussed previously, any criminality should be prosecuted.

Now evidence of another potential serious bit of criminality by a BBC presenter- now you may not think that's headline news, but many do. 

Maybe you're just a bit soft on sex offenders, but that's your cross to bear.
