Shrewsbury potting Cotterill is an odd one,

Spurs possibly seeking a new manager around Christmas, not sure how he will do.

Gerrard to Leeds is rumoured.

Uri Geller to Wigan?

I think Shrewsbury were the worst team in last 10 games iirc. They looked shite against us.

Spurs new manager will be like another Martin Jol

Bit of a character, start brightly, everyone likes him so think he could do well

Will get knocked out of Carabao Cup early doors

Then all goes to shit

Looks like Russell Martin is going to Southampton - he plays a very similar style to Evatt so usually I’d be concerned as Evatt could be seen as a simple replacement but I don’t think he’s going anywhere. Be interesting to see what knock on effect it has though, the rumour is that Swansea would look to Schumacher from Plymouth as a replacement and I’m guessing Plymouth might then have eyes on some of the better managers in League One (Duff?).

Clubs, who've seen itvoften enough to know better  remain mesmerised by a big name ex player.

Gerrard has done f'call, same with Lampard. When will clubs realise ?

To be fair to Gerard he did take a team unbeaten all season, all be it in Scotland, but still, doesn't happen often

Championship probably should've been the next step for him, not villa

Same with Lampard

PL came far too soon

Think it will be the opposite.

Start terribly. Concede an absolute shit-tonne of goals.

After the 2nd transfer windows, it clicks, and they start scoring, while still conceding a shit-tonne, but they climb the table. And everyone apologises for writing him off.

Been like that at his last 5 jobs.

I bow to your superior knowledge of pub leagues

I just looked at him and he reminded me of Martin Jol

99% of managers are shite.

All about “right time, right place”

And right amount of spending money.

Been 3 days since the last competitive game of the 22/23 season and I’m already bored

On the other hand, with only two games to bet on in the last week, I'm £20 up over the last 7 days which doesn't happen often

Just get through this summer, in a year's time you'll have 1 day till the Euros start in Germany.

I see Colin Wanker, 74, has signed for another year at Huddersfield.

In 1995 Warnock manages Huddersfield and Buffon plays for Parma

In 2023 Warnock manages Huddersfield and Buffon plays for Parma

In Parmas last game they lost Cagliari in the play offs

Cagliari managed by Claudio Ranieri who took over in January with them in 14th or something and he took them on some immense run to get promoted

Anyway

Ranieri also managed Cagliari back in 1988!!

Gary O'Neil sacked by Bournemouth

Jeez. He did a great job, they appointed him permanently 7 months ago & has done more than anyone could have asked.

Well, he leaves with his head high & a strengthened reputation.
