W.cramp Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 See where we are in 4 or so weeks, when we have signed haaland, kane,Salah, gundogan and Kyle Walker. (A list that would still not make some of our lot happy) Quote

Was talking about this today at work, until at least December I wouldn't have a pot of glue who is doing what... Quote

Frankly couldn’t give a monkeys who goes down as long as Wigan are one of them. Quote

Between Derby, Pompey, Barnsley, Posh and Us for to two at the moment. Oxford and Stevenage may get in playoff but no chance of automatic. Quote
Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted December 31, 2023 Site Supporter Posted December 31, 2023 Agree on Oxford, but Stevenage had a bit of a wobble and have nevertheless maintained a presence. I reckon they'll make the playoffs. Quote

Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted August 5, 2024 Site Supporter Posted August 5, 2024 Read the article, and the chances of us winning the league came out significantly higher for us than anyone else. 48% of the permutations gave it to us. All a bit strange, but let's hope it's true. Quote
Stig Posted August 5, 2024 Posted August 5, 2024 7th for Rotherham makes me question the super computer immediately. They'll be a big threat this season Quote
TM Trotter Posted August 5, 2024 Posted August 5, 2024 Interesting , that's the first prediction table I've seen that puts us above moneybags Birmingham. Although, we came very close last season, are improving the squad smartly to fit alongside the a core group - while Birmingham have spent big, it is a lot of new players to 'bed in' to a group of players accustomed to losing. As an aside, I cant see Stockport or Charlton finishing that low - I think both will provide serious competition around the top 6. Quote
L/H White Posted August 5, 2024 Posted August 5, 2024 the super computer doesn't take into account our weak as piss mentality either Quote

I could be wrong, he might be completely spineless. But I see the logic in getting an experienced, vocal presence who can actually play (sorry Cameron, that was never you). Quote

Since we last lost here in the EFL (which was with 10 men), Wrexham have lost at Walsall, Newport, Salford, Gillingham and Doncaster. If we lose our 1st two, with harder fixtures to come, blimey. Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted August 5, 2024 Site Supporter Posted August 5, 2024 If we lose the first two, why would that mean tougher ones are to come? Maybe those first two might turn out to be very good. Quote
