It's not constructive though is it. Unless you think Ian Evatt is logged in to wanderersways on his phone and keeps checking this thread during the game?

To be fair. He may of done just that as he came on. Are you suggesting it’s coincidence and not wanderlust calling the shots

Comfortable night expected nothing less tbh with such a strong line up

Dan seems to be getting poorer every game unfortunately

Jerome wasnt far behind.

I had Mendes first goalscorer & 3-0 so that's a nice bonus on top of beating G.Nev's little muck clan. We played some great stuff & it was a decent watch for a training like nothing match. Mendes-Gomes looked very good in the role we bought him for, Maghoma looked very classy in midfield & Forrester looks like he suits us perfectly. Last 30 mins were a hard watch but expected with all the subs throughout, Matheson may be a decent little player to develop as the understudy for Cogley in the cups as he looked relatively sharp & confident.

F*** off - it's constructive criticism.

Come on then - tell us when the prospects should get a chance if not when we're 3 nil up at home against a L2 side?

What prospects?

Sadly JDB also had trouble holding the ball up - he's got good first touch but the defenders were on him quickly and he got outmuscled and crowded out too often. Conversely Dan has the muscle but not the touch. If only....

Anyhoo, good result and some good performances with plenty of promise and plenty to work on for some if they're going to force regular starts.

Dan and Jerome just needs a goal. Any goal.

This is the competition to be giving them the minutes.

I'd not be arsed going the distance again in this really but I welcome the opportunity to give fringe players some much needed minutes

He seems to get better the longer he doesn't play.

Like others I have massive concerns about him & Jerome.

Tonight was an opportunity for a much needed goal & confidence boost.

They will both be needed at some point in the season and that’s a clear weakness we appear to have.

Absolutely

With Gomes playing well tonight dan slips further down the pecking order

We are so reliant on Charles

Let's get to February ish on this comp. Give all the lads that need minutes time to get match fit and prove themselves in competitive games.

But time to dial back to the bare minimum the 1st team squad requirement

Very professional job. Expected more changes but then again maybe not with a 10 day gap. Salford could have played for another fortnight and wouldn’t have scored.

Turns out we made seven changes and I barely even noticed which probably speaks volumes for how interchangeable so many of our players can be. Certainly a positive.

Steady , this clearly isnt a thread to be positive about . The two Doubleyous will be on you when they unclench on each other.
