The sending off probably helped us because I don't think we would of gone to a back 4 without it and they were killing us down the wings.

Second half they kind of did what we do when we play against 10 men, just keep crossing it in which Is easier to defend. We rode our luck and they probably should have won but they didn't create any proper chances just pressure , so for me it's a point gained.

Says a great deal about a Plan B which we cry out for.

We know, & accept, that Evatt-Ball means 5 at the back Inc. 2 wing-backs. Sometimes it's not the best option.we should, at least, give ourselves that option.

So, come the Winter window and with only 6 months on his contract, is Clarke-Harris a worthwhile target ?

no..

already proven that he can't hack it in the championship.. Gotta build for a long term plan and we know that wouldnt work.

Evatt made a point of going over to him and shaking his hand as the 2 teams came out of the tunnel for the first half, the only one in their team he did it to.

I reckon we’ve had a sniff, possibly with a view to money coming in for either Johnston or Thomason, but without anything in we left it - nothing to back it up, just a theory.

Anyway, I’d have him alongside Dion every day of the week. To be honest, we wouldn’t need to question it if we had the JDB from today for 70 mins a game, 40 games a season - he showed what he can do but we just need to see it consistently for 10-15 games!

The red was a red all day, there can’t be any complaints about that. Also I’m sure Evatt  must bet on himself getting booked.

He couldn’t stop himself, and I reckon he can thank Atherton for saving him from getting a red at half time because he was dying to go back for more and that ref would have had no problem getting his card out again.

First half was awful

Red card was fucking stupid.

Second half was excellent in the circumstances.

JDB looked very good Lulu did well too

Crowd second half was brilliant

two more out next week, but one back.

We look like a very average team at the moment.

Very average, Evatt ball has gone out of the window, we don’t play it out from the back, we don’t build through midfield and our only consistent outlet is Cogley… it’s very disappointing.
