Site Supporter MickyD Posted November 15 Site Supporter Share Posted November 15 My brothers second car was a Triumph TR7. You don’t see many of them around these days. My first car was a Ford Capri 2.0. Wish I still had it.
royal white
Was thinking back to when I was about 10 and I came across my first Ferrari. Sprinted home to tell my dad, I couldn’t believe what I had seen. Now you can pretty much see a super car everyday on the roads

It looked like it should finish well last but by Christ it was quick The decline of BTCC started when Volvo switched to the S40 too sensible a car. Members bolty58
De Tomaso Pantera. There used to be a little hard backed book which was the petrolhead equivalent of the Rothmans Football Yearbook. The old man (car nut) always made sure I had one in my Christmas stocking. Fell in love with the Pantera the first time I saw it. Even now I seek out programmes on the likes of Discovery Turbo etc. whenever someone is restoring one etc.

Gorrrrrgeous Cracking car that. The missus had a convertible 900 turbo for a little while (later model mid 20s) and it was a lovely car except for awful body shake. It was a bad decision as we had a little one and getting the car seat in and out was a fucking mare and no room for the buggy with the roof down. Still a cool car though. As i got old enough to drive and even afford to probably buy the types of cars I'd always liked it never happened, and these were realistic purchases not super cars, so thought I'd mention a few i thought were stunning in the 70s. Datsun 240/260z Triumph Stag Ford Corsair 2000E Fiat supamirafiuri TC Capri JPS edition Alfa GTV6 Opal manta gte, anyone actually had one of these beauties? As by 82 they would all have been very affordable if not old bangers?. This was mine when I was 20 , rapid car that used to eat 3i's alive until some Tosser torched it. Gorrrrrgeous A guy on my street growing up had a saab and it was a beaut. Think it was a 9-3. Another had a mitsubishi 3000 GT which as a 12 year old obsessed with Gran Turismo I thought was insane as my fully modded version of it was unbeatable on the game. We grew up rattling round the back of my dad's various work Transit vans. Our first car we owned was a Mini (with a choke) my dad bought my mum when she passed her test! 🤣 5 of us rarely got in the fucker.
