Feeling the pressure today are we ?

He'd have sorted your lot out. Of course though you wanted STYLE. A man who brought Anelka, Campo, Hierro, Stelios, Speed, Okocha, N'Gotty, Djorkaev to a small club simply couldn't cut it for the School of Science could he.

Thats great for you, and all the good stuff he did was almost 20 years ago….game had well moved on by the time we got him.

He spent £50 million on Cenk Tosun and Theo Walcott for us🤣

Everton are just terrible

Terrible owners spending huge amounts of money on terrible players

Terrible at hiring generally, more so at firing

Just all round terrible  running of a club

And it's gradually catching up with them

Tbf there has been way more wastes of money than those two.

They are amongst the worst…..they both went on frees too.

£50 mill and £100k pw wages for each of them for 3/4 year deals.

Onana is a good player that we will get money for.

Moise Keane we made a profit on.

Gomes and Gbamin got massive injuries.

Godfrey has since played for England and is decent.

Iwobi is decent but obv over-priced.

Mykolenko is very average and over-priced too.

And all your fee’s are way out🤣

Still a big pile of overpriced crap that's landed you in big trouble mate.

Compare your recruitment to Brighton and Brentford.

I suppose thats your fans beef innit.

Yes exactly, they let each manager rip it up and buy new players.

The last 2 years we have spent fuck all because of the way they let koeman, sam, silva spunk what they did.

Its not the amount we have spent thats the issue its how we have spent it.

west ham, villa and newcastle have spent more.

West Ham seem to be going under the radar at the min. They are bang in trouble...

Won’t be long before Moyes is potted. The goodwill from last season will soon run out when relegation becomes a genuine possibility.

Very surprised that each of Rogers, Lampard and Moyes are still in their jobs considering club expectations and current league positions / form.

So Pabs what is the fans realistic expectations ?

Lampard to go ? Then who to come in ?

Clear out the Board ? But money has not been the issue. What does Kenwright do these days ?

The manager is the least of the problems because we know under the current situation most managers will be shite.

Bill wants romantic appointments and ex players all at the club…and gets involved in UK transfer deals even tho we have had 3 directors of football to do that…

Bill influences Moshiri on this stuff….but Moshiri also makes decisions that the board go against…like Rafa appointment, nobody at the club wanted it and told him so, but he wanted it anyway.

The only think he has done well is deliver the new ground….but he has appointed specialists in that field and left them to it.

its just a mess.

the fans just want to be a bit competitive on the pitch.

Driving home yesterday had 606 on and there were calls for all 3 to be sacked, plus a Liverpool fan wanting Klopp out.

Yeah fair. Still think Lampard is a bit of a chump mind you.

He is not very good at all, but we can see the situation he has been put in by the club…selling best player and not replacing him, and not being able to give him much backing.

Hands tied behind his back really at this point.

But as much of a nice fella he seems, he is just not very good.

I’m not surprised, based on the last 5-10 years you’d expect at least Rogers and Lampard to have gone weeks ago, it’s so rare to see managers given time now (add Cooper at Forest to that after their start) - it’s nice to see actually but I think it’s inevitable that as it gets closer to the end of the season and panic sets in, they could all be gone.

As an aside, I’m just watching MOTD and Leicester fans had a banner having a go at the board - it wasn’t long ago that they could do absolutely nothing wrong and is probably the biggest example of fickle football fans when you consider what they’ve achieved under this ownership.

I think it probably highlights why a fan on or influencing the Board won't ever work at a multi million pound business level.

Antony Gordon seemed to targeted or at least very caught up in it yesterday, deserved ?

One of the consistent factors was the lack of realistic alternatives.
