Get in touch with the consumer and credit services reduce payments to about 15% of what you are paying out origanally.Only works if you don't want credit for about the next 15 years. Working for a bank in debt management I wouldn't recommend this unless you really are in financial difficulties. Not strictly true, it just means you'll have to get a mortgage with a company you've never heard of who will charge you 1% a year less than Freddie 4 fingers the local loan shark.
