Trevor Steven has basically just given Wigan about £300k plus to spend in the January window (gate receipts/live TV revenue).

He's given us about £25k.

A replay would be worth 750k to them minimum. They'd probably rather draw with United than  beat them

Got face in the crowd and a pair of Reebok trainers when we won there 2-0  in the naughties.

Crap draw but a new ground for my son, so I’m happy for him.

Seem to remember Tommo scoring with a belting shot out of nowhere. The ground was a dump then. Hope it has improved.

Sorry Rog, but bollocks! A place in the next round would be top of their priorities.

Ian will look at this an an opportunity.

With nothing to loose.

Not a glamorous tie . But Luton may have their priorities elsewhere.

A win and a decent draw next round is the target

Went to Luton for a cup tie which got postponed an hour or so before kick off.

K&F to the Luton exit on M1, wait 15 mins for the inspection and back we went.

Had better Tuesday nights out

We had a night match at Burnden v them called off as well. 94ish, pissed it down all day and it was called off as we got in King Bill.

Might have been the same season Sneekes scored a worldie there.

Great draw in my opinion. This will be distraction for them and we have a chance of getting a result. Not much to dislike.

I was disappointed when our number was pulled out of the hat but I'm coming round to this way of thinking

I'm genuinely glad its their problem not ours.

I'm glad from that point of view that we don't have United at home, but if it was us it would be a powderkeg because a lot of our fans see it as some sort of rivalry.  Wigan won't see it that way, there's no history between them as far as I'm aware, I'd expect them to just accept there will be Utd fans in their end and get on with it, like if Bury were playing them etc.
