Wigan Twats

Don’t think it’ll be too much of a scramble at those prices, even with the reduced allocation.

He said the same about vic last season and lets be honest he still isn't ripping up trees either.

I keep reading we have gone back since we 'replaced' him

Id agree we have struggled but id argue thats more due to ripping the guts out of team

Even one of the main critics @radcliffe whitewho kept banging on about fatigue and injuries seems to be forgetting that now

Somethings not reet but its too easy to lash out at all and sundry

Chances I can remember are

1. Toal 30 yarder

2. Toal free header

3. Lofted ball to Maghoma in first half on right hand side. Shot blocked from 7 yards.

4. Ogbeta shooting near post in second half when he should’ve crossed it for Victor

5. one or two low crosses that got blocked. On another day would’ve fallen to one of our players but didn’t.

6. Sheehan free kick that went just wide

so we did have chances to score but absolutely nothing for Victor or Collins and nothing for JDB and Jerome when they came on. And only 2 of those were from open play

Did victor and collins not have decent chances from almost the exact position maghoma did

Neither looked like a footballer mind

I must be looking at the wrong League table.

I made a post about our forwards not having a shot on target

And in that league table you are viewing are we in a automatic promotion spot????

No point in spending around 2m on our frontline if they are not getting the service...........I have come to the conclusion you know fuck all about football and just a wind up merchant

Thats the thing. Promotion is going to be won and lost in the big games.

As it was last season. We fell short in the big games and it ultimately cost us.

This season has been no different. Theres not a hope in hell we have the balls to go to Derby or Barnsley and get a result.

Play offs will be de-ja-vu.

We just cant handle the pressure and as much as I like Evatt and back him, his ingame management is highly questionable.

Think we might be over estimating Derby

Their home form is relatively poor, lost four so far and it's their away form where they are picking up most points

Derby fan I know (s/t holder) says they are playing poorly and just scraping points and have plenty injuries

I know we haven't been playing well of late but if Charlton can go there and win, I wouldn't completely write off our chances

Agree on Derby, however if any team can find a way to lose to a bang average team its BWFC.

Weve just lost at Blackpool and Wigan who are bang average.

On paper we walk over both of them.

We cant handle occasion. Heads will go.

We're joint 2nd on goal difference, with a game in hand on 2nd place - who lost at home to Charlton last night.

You obviously know better than me, and Ian Evatt. So what's the obvious solution that means we win every single game?

And don't we know it!

Think they've only got one forward who is 34 and are relying on midfield for goals

If there was ever a chance for us to finally win there this would be it

This obviously relies on us turning up but the chance is there

As was the case last night!

You're right though.

I wouldn’t say knee jerking ramblings myself I’ve been very consistent with my views on IE and our performances

like I mentioned last night for me we haven’t been the same since Portsmouth away that result really hit us imo, take a few cup games & Carlisle away and we’ve been very fortunate and lucky in games but now it’s running out

we now must find the type of performances which we had sept & October time and see this job out otherwise a very promising season could u turn very quickly

I said mainly knee-jerk ramblings. Which it was. Most of it was comical. I get it that folk have opinions but the way some piped up you would have thought they owned a Cat 1 Uefa coaching badge. Knobs!

Sorry, are you taking about Blackpool, Wigan or Derby ?

So if we keep playing this way and lose out on promotion do we risk another season with IE?

Move the ball quicker through the lines, drop Maghoma his style of play slows down our transition passing, drop JDC his final ball is appalling, start Collins and have him drop into the pockets to collect the ball and be the creative force in the final 3rd.

Couple of simple fixes, the pedestrian passing in low impact areas does nothing but bump up possession stats that Evatt can tug himself off on camera to.

Stop playing with Cogley on one side and Williams/Iredale/Ogberta/Ashworth on the other side

Mix it up play through the middle give our forwards some service

Evatt and the way we play has become predictable.......We have some seriously talented players for league one but they are not all playing to there full potential.

It is easy to throw that out at me......second in the table and you know more than Evatt blah, blah, blah

I will throw it back to you any decent manager would get our squad promoted

Already said Evatt deserves to stay until May.........Then he will either lead us to the Championship or need replacing

It's not up to me. Who do you think should replace him? There must be somebody out there with a record of winning every single game in a League 1 season, seeing as that is what some of you expect. Name him.

Which decent manager would be guaranteed to get this squad promoted?

Now you’re being silly (again). No manager in the world would win every game but are you happy with giving him another go with this dross tactics  he his presently turning out?

Any in paid employment

I was banging on about injuries & fatigue regarding fixture congestion whilst in cup competitions which I said at the time may cost us down the line

We’ve had bad luck but so have others

The Portsmouth manager, had never heard of him before but not my job too, but massively overtaken Evatt in half the time.

Someone like him please.

I disagree that it's dross for a start. We're just misfiring due to a couple of months of terrible luck and injuries. Our first choice GK, Captain, and top scorer have all been side-lined through no fault of their own ffs. Not to mention the rest. Apply that to any team in the land and they'll struggle.

So you're saying Evatt is the worst manager in the Football League? Aye alright.

Agreed but that team there last night should be beating Wigan. Same on Saturday.

7 Sheehan Freekick straight at keeper

For 4, I think it was a badly miss hit  cross.
