A few sleepless nights incoming

Not half.

Can't even work out the permutations properly!

Checked again, I was right first time. I think! :)

Yep if derby only drew at Wycombe they would be 10 points behind with 3 left

Indeed... Although we do have 2 home games where we could (& should) rack up a shed load of goals.

I just hope Derby play like they did against us, but Pompey don't play like we did against Derby.

Absolutely, hope that adds to the pressure for derby tonight, knowing that we can do that to teams.

Obviously fingers crossed for Pompey tonight but I learned a little bit of info re another part of Derby's run in today.

I work with a Wycombe fan who earnestly told me of the bitter history they have with Derby. All to do with when Wycombe got relegated because Derby's points deductions didn't kick in until the following season. Derby pursued legal action (this is going back to early 2022). No love lost between the fans. Wycombe will be a bit more pumped up for this than you might have thought.

I guess it also depends on if Derby lose, by how much ?

They could lose tonight, we win on our games and in particular our game in hand Vs Shrewsbury couple goals to nil.

By that point it could be in our hands.

Anyway, there's still lots of ifs, buts and maybes.

Derby could lose tonight then we typically cock it up against Bristol.

Still 5 games to go, but a help tonight would be greatly welcomed.

It would still be in Derby's hands too though.

Just becomes a shoot out for goal difference then, and we can't control each others scoring.

It’s that time of the season where teams who have been inconsistent suddenly hit a patch of form ( Lincoln, Cambridge ) we could benefit or we could be the victim of a Bristol or a vale, let’s hope Pompey keep us believing tonight

Could make it interesting

Neither us or Derby are going to win all of our remaining games, regardless of tonights result. The 'it's in our hands' stuff is pointless.

Indeed, but it would be nice knowing that each win puts that bit of extra pressure on  the challengers.

Battling over goal difference really would be nerve shredding!

Could make for some interesting matches, especially for the neutral.
