Not reading back through the thread  but is the first time the same 3 teams have lost in play offs 2 years running ?

Yeah. Someone pointed this out earlier. Think it was that Barnsley fan who’s been coming on

OKish.

I'm on a course of eye injections at Wolverhampton Eye Hospital, and my patner is still having treatment for her breast cancer, altough the main treatments are 15 months behind us.

Good to hear from you pal.

Hope you and the wife are on the mend x

All the best.

Eye injections sound horrendous.

It sounds horrendous - and I was certainly apprehensive for the first one (normally close my eyes for any injection, but obviously can't for these), but actually the worst bit was pulling off the sterile strip they across the face while doing the injection. Ouch!

I did a stint in Opthalmic surgery as a student, its one of the few things that nearly everyone gets squeamish about but there are no nerves in the eyball (apart from the big one at the back) so you cant feel any "eye pain" . When you get something in your eye its the hyper sensitive inside of the eyelids that register the pain.  If that helps in any way.

Hope you both recover asap.

Thanks for that clear and simple explanation. It really does help.
