I doubt season tickets was as cheap back then as now

We also didn't have (is it 3?) community days with ticket prices slashed. Its brilliant when we get a big crowd like v Reading, but our official attendances in previous eras could have been a lot higher with similar incentives, it makes comparisons difficult.

Average ticket price in the 25k a week prem days was 8.30

We did have one "community day" or something similar under Allardyce in the promotion season and got 25k v Grimsby on a Tuesday if I remember correctly. So the top attendance has always been there, but I'd say we're a good 5k average higher on the general games. So many 12k attendance games in that season.

Reading bloke from work came up last week and despite a defeat today, claims we are light years above the much feared Lincoln.

Did he leave before the end?

Ffs, this could still let Blackpool in

Don't :(

.....speaking to my mate who was at gloomfield today and he says they were absolutely terrible and players were getting booed all over the gaff.

Presume he didn't watch us at Stevenage or Exeter or Wigan etc? 😀

they're 6 points off Oxford with 4 games to go, surely Oxford can hold on (really hope they do).

would be dreadful if we got them in the play-offs

Think they've got Fleetwood and Carlisle this week 🤦‍♂️.

They are absolute playoff kryptonite.

But we're finishing 2nd, so all good 😀
