Whilst I do like Evatt and can’t argue with the job he’s done here I genuinely believe he’s so set on a certain way and has zero ability to change or adapt. Other managers can be flexible something I never see from Evatt and I just don’t think he’s a motivator. Time to go I think Ian as we reset.

Sharon isn’t getting rid of Evatt. So anyone wanting it is going to be disappointed.

But this has been shocking.

Then it’s up to us all to make our feelings clear now. And I’ve backed him to the rafters until now, & still would be backing if we’d lost & tried to play today

But to turn up and set us out like that shows how serious a problem it is. Let’s be honest, it’s been there since Christmas.

No desire whatsoever from the off and like all season, no plan B.

If Sharon accepts that standard then we’re fcked next season.

Utterly pathetic performance. No desire, no guile, no urgency, no leadership.

Something we're used to when it really matters.

Honestly can't see us getting out of this division with Evatt 🤷‍♂️

I'm not an Evatt fan, as most know, but I've always said I'm happy for him to ram that view down my neck. This doesn't feel good but it's become our default and that has to change.

Things don’t change unless you change something and I think it’s now best for both Ian and the club that that change comes now. Play offs twice now and failed miserably in both. Time for Ian to move on.

Fair play to the likes of @tomski and @L/H White, they called out our obvious deficiencies months ago and got absolute pelters for it

I think Tomski is the guy who says Ian Evatt is this generations Phil Neal

Finish 3rd in the 4th Division, win the Sherpa Van, lose the 3rd Div play off semi final and now lose the 3rd Div Play off Final.Exactly what  Neal did at Bolton

Neal was given another 12 months before he was sacked,I hope to God another season isn't wasted watching Evatt pick 3 centre backs at home to dross like Cambridge and Burton

He has been such a great manager for us, but there is something lacking.

And next season look’s harder than the previous two, going to be much more strength in depth with the teams that’s coming in.

Left at half time, best decision. He’s a stubborn arse who can’t change things.

anyway on the plus side I’m nearly in Southampton for a cruise tomorrow.🚢
