Members DazBob
If we'd have carried on pressing we may well have still lost the game, but at least we'd have gone down fighting. As it was we lost with whimper. So, so frustrating.
L/H White
Don't think we deserved to concede when we did Thought we'd kick on after the goal Oh well, got the labour government football coming home will have to wait another couple of years

royal white
Surely that’s it for Southgate now? I’ve been behind him throughout but Hes a championship level manger. Difficult part is now is trying to convince a top level manager which isn’t easy with national teams

Just so frustrating when you’ve got the players to do otherwise

wiggy
Everyone realised in the first couple of matches that a 4-2-3-1 doesn’t work with both Bellingham and Foden. But we played the finally with exactly that. Just criminal
jmjhb
Probably need to have a serious discussion about Kane. Maybe after the World Cup

Wanderlust
Sacrificed Bellingham again to protect the left - this time against Carvahal and Yamal. Gave Foden space to work in. But no runners for him. Kane playing deep and he defended well at times but having surrendered the initiative there was no real threat to them. Should have started with Watkins to run them around at the back and make them think twice but it was too late. when he came on. A few mistakes at the back sunk us, especially Stones dropping too deep to ensure the onside for their second goal and Walker getting sucked into the middle for their first. Happened a few times but twice we didn't get away with it. TBF this England squad is not far off being a top team - and maybe we will be soon. Stig
Terrible management by Southgate. Just like the rest of the tournament he was reactive with all his subs. Can get away with that against farmers from Slovakia and the like but eventually get found out. It's another tournament for me where how far we got looks good on paper, but it had just been another easy draw. It makes me feel sorry for Sven coming up against decent teams at the quarter finals every tournament

Members DazBob
I'm gonna hang an effigy of Kane from a lamppost. Lazy cunt. Has pissed me right off. Captain of the side and walks around like Bolty in one of his games of football.
