I might have to watch it back, but for their winning goal I can't believe Walker didn't get there first

Should have taken man and ball

I'm gonna hang an effigy of Kane from a lamppost.  Lazy cunt. Has pissed me right off. Captain of the side and walks around like Bolty in one of his games of football.

Excuse me, he power walks. Didn't see that from Kane tonight.

If we can be serious for a minute

Id hazard a guess that Southgate has delivered our best England moments, 2 finals, a semi and a 1/4 final

Is this the best it gets for us?

Do you truly believe another manager could get us over the line? If so, who?

And a realistic appointment?

Imo our next manager will be Howe or Carsley, and they won't do as well as Southgate.

Southgate deserves all the pelters heading his way, Kane a passenger throughout, Tripper wrong position, taking injured players while leaving Grealish and Maddison at home, just fuck off Southgate and fuck up some club side you incompetent fucker.

Who gives a fuck?

Stop fishing, go to bed and just be miserable like the rest of the country.

Most sane people recognise what Southgate has done.

Tonight we were miles off, like we are every single time.

Yawn...

Bit dismissive

loads of respect for our achievements under Gareth. He’s taken us forwards.

But every game in these knockouts we played it safe until the other team scored. We were incredibly lucky not to lose to Slovakia and were always going to be caught out eventually. Plenty of examples of poor game management in this tournament to be honest. I’d be delighted for the guy if he succeeds at club management, but I can’t see it.

Let’s be honest, this new Spain team is the real deal so let’s not be too down about losing. Southgate will get pelters, probably rightly but even at our best we’d have struggled to beat these.

No issue with us losing. It was the manner of the defeat.

We rode our luck and were lucky to only be 0-1 down.

The subs worked a treat and for the first time in the game we had Spain wobbling. Instead of turning the screw we reverted back to sitting off them and the end result was inevitable.

Not sure if that was down to weak mentality of the players or if it was instructions from GS. I don't suppose we'll ever know.

Club shop? Little fags

It's a serious question, and I'm in the camp we should probably move on, but I'm not sure who we could realistically get?

Klopp would be number 1 choice but he's probably heading for the German job

Not really, it's like weeds popping up. We have been to two major finals, that's not luck, or poor management.

Armchair leaders deserve a smidge of derision.

Before the tournament, Gareth Southgate had faced top-10 FIFA-ranked teams 24 times as England's manager, with 4 wins to his name. Now he has faced top-10 FIFA-ranked teams 25 times as England's manager, still with just 4 wins to his name.
