Good win. Best possible start in the super 8’s. Semis the next target. Would love to reverse the Aussie result given the chance.

One of those unusual days where a double England win in international tournaments in cricket and football is on the cards 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Barely being covered by main channels.

A quick report in sport section of the news.

All about the football.

Wonder who will get the furthest?

to be fair, unless it's the Ashes, the British (English) public generally don't give a toss about cricket. When a major football tournament is happening, they really just don't get a look in. Even if it wasn't the Euros, this tournament wouldn't be getting much coverage at all

Less coverage than football I agree, but we've won both short forms of the game in the recent past, and I seem to remember more coverage.

Perhaps it's the football and the election coupled together, that is reducing available time.

I know @tomskihas been very angry at the lack of coverage

It's because they have a T20 "World Cup" every eighteen months

I like to follow the cricket, but genuinely didn’t know we had played the West Indies the other night until about 15-20 hours later.

Not keen on them having this second round of group matches.

Afghanistan beating the Aussies! 🤣.

They have to beat India now if Afghanistan go on to beat Bangladesh.

Storms could unfortunately play a part for our game today.

Hope not, as a win pretty much secures our passage to Semi if we notch out NRR above South Africa.

We could still go through with an abandoned 1 point if SA beat West Indies.

First time apparently we’ve ever faced USA at cricket at top level

Last 5 wickets taken in 6 balls helps !

Chris Jordan 4 in 5 including hat trick. TBF their last 4 batsmen looked awful.

Win this and into semis, knocks out one of SA and Windies, assuming win is within 18 overs ! Only need 115.

Really pleased for Jordan.

Got it on the radio, with intermittent listening.

Didn't know he'd smashed a panel.

Jordon's over was remarkable. Has there ever been a more productive one in international T20 cricket?

Well, that was a bit brutal.

5 consecutive 6s was it?

More in total.

Be renting out helmets to the spectators next!

No, they bowled a wide after first 4 😂😎
