To kick off, Charlton replaced May with Godden from Coventry, looks an excellent signing for this level, 50 goals in 156 games.

Brum partnering May with Juke potentially - Jutkiewicz signed a 1 year deal.  Will be good to see him play here again, one of my favourite strikers of recent times.

And Dan Udoh who looked a handful for Shrewsbury at our place a few months ago has signed for Wycombe.

I'm waiting on Sincey to demand a statement on where we are up to with our transfers. 

We've bought season tickets FFS.

I'm not sure Jutkiewicz is the player he was a decade ago with us. He doesn't worry me. (Until he's bullying Toal for a header and scoring winner at ours).

Scored 18 league goals  over the last 4 seasons and 35yrs old.  Their new Cameron Jerome.

Agreed he's not at his peak but Juke is nearly 3 years younger than Jerome and has never played below the championship.  Pick any season in the last 10 and Juke scored more than Jerome every time, often at a higher level, apart from last season (3 each).  I'm not knocking Jerome because I could see what he contributed but Juke is better.

Juke has 28 PL appearances and 0 goals 

CJ has 211 and 33

Fair enough, I was thinking of last few years.  But I accept there's not much difference, they've both had good careers above the level we are at now, proper leaders of the line and popping up with their share of goals.

And it doesn't matter does it 😀

tbf, I always had CJ down as a shite PL striker, became a running joke with some mates that we noticed whenever we happened to see him on SKY he really was turd

though I didn't even know / recall that Juke had ever played in the PL either

One of those that just looked the business from day one, and he may have had poor games like everyone but I don't recall a poor run of games.  Can't believe he only scored 20 for us!

Never heard of him but apparently it’s 650k up front with over 300k add ons.

Some £££ being spent in our league atm.
