In.       Expecting a line up something like

                                              Southwood

Tu Tu      Forrester       Forino        Johnston       Iredale

                               Morley                          Matete

Lolos ( if fit)                  Vic                         Dan

Hopefully Dempsey and   Randell  on the bench.

Maybe same team, but be tempted to play Mcatee  and give him 60 mins.........Do not think he has much if anything of a pre-season

Wouldn't care if we got knocked out.

We just don't need any side shows this season.

Said before

Happy to get through and have a crack at a decent PL team/following at home

Just not the other cups

Agree 100%

Hope we play a lot of the players who didn't start yesterday.Give them all some playing time

Don't want any distractions this season

Promotion and fuck all else matters

Aye, a quiet non headline grabbing exit would do for me. Further we go the more chance we come up against a Championship/PL side where Evatt will want to test himself and the first team squad.

I'd swap as much of the full 11 as possible.

Maybe keep the back 3 just with injuries and the chance to get a partnership going.

Yeh, I’d be happy with that team. But with Mcatee in. Probably for Lolos as he took a shocker of a challenge yesterday.

Dodgy for me

Team from the same division doesn't get my juices flowing

The league cup was the one comp that was near on impossible on dodgy last year. Good luck with that.

I’ll be down there, not purchased yet, but first home this year, looking forward to it.

That's a good point actually

Blimey, forgot about that.  There's going to be some comically low crowds this week.  I'll make the effort but if we'd been at home yesterday and lost I'd be tempted by TV.  I wonder how many Wigan fans will turn up v Barnsley after yesterday's defeat 😀

Watching our goals on You Tube led to 25 mins of watching other EFL goals and one set of highlights that came up was theirs. Atmosphere sounded like a kid's swimming gala. I believe there's some form of rivalry between them and Barnsley so maybe that'll liven it up.

I guarantee it wont 😀  Barnsley will take about 150, crowd of 2,500 tops rattling around that stadium.

Look forward to seeing new signings start

And Baccus

Especially Baccus. Can't wait to see what we missed out on, especially against the more athletic players we just signed who may well be a match for him. Depends on whether Mansfield are going to take the cup seriously or not - I expect them to be focused on the league, being newly promoted so he may not play.

So presumably it’s that sky plus thingy again?

I could be talking bollox cause I wasn’t using it yesterday with being there. My missus said the dodgy stream was different to Sky suggesting that it’s the international wanderer’s TV stream we get on dodgy for league games?

But that won’t be there Tuesday will it?

So you’d need a sky subscription I think for Tuesday, unless your dodgy provider finds a way of steaming the Sky Plus matches for these league cup games.

Easier just to go 🤣

He played well on Friday.

Had a goal from edge of the area disallowed for offside (a team-mate near the keeper, not that it was being saved), and got the assist for their second goal.

Can't see him playing Tuesday.

Wrexham lads saying that Mansfield were a very well organised passing team last season who dominated the ball but couldn't score. However, as well as Baccus, they've added the prolific Lee Gregory up front this year who is now 35 but still dangerous. Should be a good test if they put out a strong team.
