I'm not convinced Arfield's miss from McAtee's backheel was as easy as is being made out

His airshot for the first goal, however, was poor no matter the opposition

First goal was a poor individual mistake. Second showed how you get punished at speed by teams of this calibre. Overall not a bad half at all, all things considered

If he’d have been skinned by Sterling, or bossed by their £105m centre mid then your point is completely fair - he didn’t though, he air-shotted at a relatively simple cross which directly led to us conceding. It’s a bad mistake for a semi-pro player in the conference north, never mind a professional footballer in a L1 squad.

I also think he’s too slow to set himself for his chance in the first minute and therefore gets it caught under his feet a bit.

Generally though I think it was a really good half from us and plenty have put in a really good shift against one of the best teams in the country/world. Toal and Sheehan have been standouts for me so far.

What’s up with people we are playing Arsenal ffs we have done ok had a couple of chances ok made mistakes but we make mistakes every game just got punished by a top side !

Decent enough game. Couple of good chances and a penalty shout for us.

Bit disappointing the goals we've given away. The first should have been cleared and the second we were caught ball watching.

Overall not too bad imo.

That's the disappointing thing. Looked good till then and to completely miss an easy clearance... Plus the miss earlier. Annoying
