Tricky selection, normallyl i'd pick the weakest possible team to try & get knocked out of this cup ( which isn't that easy ! ) but our new players need to play to get up to speed.

Absolutely not writing anyone off, it's much too soon for that, but so far Schon, McAtee, Tutu, Forino & Matete haven't shown enough to be 1st team starters so i'd play them all tonight ( plus the new keeper who has done well )

Of course the danger is that someone gets crocked !!

Amazingly, it's not as bad as it's made out, (biggest cul de sac in the world etc), some nice bits and weather not as grim as folk would have you believe 😊

A game for all those players who didn't have the best preseason to get 90 minutes of competitive footy. without the match congestion it's not much of a problem at this point imo.

Evatt’s men will be missing five players due to international duty, with Dion Charles, Eoin Toal and Luke Southwood away with Northern Ireland, Josh Sheehan in the Wales’ squad and Chris Forino called up for the first time by St Lucia.

With a raft of centre backs unavailable/sold on; Iredale, Forrester, Toal, Forino, Jones, there’d be no better time and game to at least see if a back 4 can function. But I think we all know we’ll see Cogley or a young-un playing next to Santos and Johnston.
