Schumacher would be an absolute no brainer if he'd come.

If we somehow stumble in to timing it perfectly to get a manager of his quality in with no compensation to pay, that would be sensational luck.

Get it done. Quickly.

The majority of fans don’t want him to stay and most of the players have stopped playing for him. The club cannot ignore that and must reach a settlement.

That's a bit emotive Farrelli - and highly speculative.

The majority of fans on here actually want to give him longer according to this survey - between 5 weeks and the end of the season longer - so I don't know where you've got the idea that the majority want him gone from. Social media frenzy created by a small and specific section of the fanbase perhaps?

And the only verifiable feedback we have from the players is that they feel they have let him down and want to do better e.g. George's video interview.

The only indication that he might resign is his statement that he will talk to the board and even that's a subjective interpretation. TBF to Evatt, it seems like he was aware of the physicality/athleticism issue from the beginning seeing as he signed Forino and Metete and was trying to sign Cooper, McCowan and Ladapo which would have gone a long way towards solving the problem so maybe he wants to talk to the board about not digging deeper to get them?

Of course I think you are probably right that he is considering walking - and maybe the social media outcry from the minority might tip him over the edge even if he wasn't - but we really don't know for 100% certain.

I think he's gone but I won't rule anything out until it happens.

That's certainly the rumour.

Change of captaincy, change of back room staff and one big rallying call.

Feels like making him admit he's wrong though, which can't be great for his authority with players.

Mad this, social media will implode 😂😂

I don't think the players can have any argument with whatever he decides to do after their recent performances.

Santos is very much divided in the dressing room apparently, not mr popular that many think he is

My sympathies are turning to frustrations directed at the board now. I’m genuinely shocked.

Blaming the 4th in command is below the belt even for him

I'm wondering if Craddock's promotion last year wasn't entirely Evatt's choice

I could see a scenario where the club hierarchy like the idea of creating a culture of promoting from within and he went along with it

The fact we hired yet another coach in the summer without anyone else leaving seemed strange to me at the time

Was told that yesterday. There's a big divide in the dressing room.

One side all kick about together and the rest have no chance being heard.
