Dr Faustus Posted September 8, 2024 Posted September 8, 2024 10 years since my mate passed, this will be 11th walk, which means pub crawled 90 miles Numbers have dwindled over the years, but any spares going that I can swap at ticket office so friends and family are all together would be greatly appreciated Oh, and I can only remember one win this weekend in past 10 years! Craig Noone scored the winner and have his shirt to Mavers mam Top lad for that Quote
Big E Posted September 8, 2024 Posted September 8, 2024 If he sorts us out great. Very worried by them being from the championship and better than anything we have played this season. Quote
frank_spencer Posted September 8, 2024 Posted September 8, 2024 Can't come soon enough I hate international breaks. Need a win Quote

Think a lot of us were in Hamburg for the Noone game (Derby 1-0?) back to business I’ll go 1-1 Quote

Missing the Exeter game with work has been both a blessing and a curse, didn't have to sit through that shit show but it feels like forever since I've been at the footy Quote

Whitesince63 Posted September 8, 2024 Posted September 8, 2024 Terriers are struggling themselves and don’t appear to have much up front with injuries so it should be a good time to play them? Hopefully we can just find a goal from somewhere and get back on track? Quote

Need a win I always like the few days leading up to first game back after international breaks it gets me excited to get things going again, this time hoping against hope that we'll see a big difference in performances. Can't really recall any home games against Huddersfield apart from one where they scored from miles out into the top corner. Away games usually a decent day out there though. Quote

They were top of the league when they came to us fairly early in 98/99. We absolutely demolished them in the first half and was 3-0 up at half time, Gunlauggson was incredible. Second half, they battered us but Branagan was unbeatable. I had just started high school and had a Huddersfield fan in my form so it was a very enjoyable Monday morning. Quote

I was front couple of rows of ESL and Blake came over to celebrate his goal right in front of us IIRC. Played some great football around that time, used to love going them games. Quote

That one and the last season of the one we used in PL we had some really good players playing really entertaining stuff. Was still too young to really know or care about off the pitch stuff like the cost of getting relegated etc, or even how empty the ground was at times I just liked going watching us win. Quote
deeane Koontz Posted September 8, 2024 Posted September 8, 2024 Remember being on our way to the bus and missed a last minute Per Fransen freekick. Only thing i can remember about the game. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_1/1162471.stm Quote
