"The minute we lost that final at Wembley I've just felt in and out of the club a huge negative energy.

Like always, I'll get the blame and I'll take the responsibility."

Be gone by 8pm

Can’t be saying shit like that. The fans have been nothing but amazing through his whole tenure. Of course there was negativity after the play off final - he stated that the aim for the season was promotion and that game meant we’d failed on our season’s objective. Not only that, we did it without a shot on target or any kind of effort against fucking Oxford. What did he want, an open top bus parade for us to celebrate them getting to the play off final?

Enough’s enough now. I don’t want it to get acrimonious but he’s in massive danger of doing so. He’s let his public persona slip a few times over the years to show what I think is hiding underneath and this is the biggest one yet.

The results and performances are enough for him to go, comments like that against the fans just make it even more certain.

Sounds like he wants them to back him or sort a deal out for him to leave

Honestly after that interview and the match today, he's a dead man walking. Completely burnt the bridges with fans

I know what the problem is my son went to uni this year and my wife took over the season ticket even though she is a Charlton supporter she's only been to the Oxford game and this seasons home games I told IE this and he agrees it's her fault

Up until the goal I thought we defended pretty stoutley. The 3 centre backs stuck in a lot of good blocks and tackles.

Offensively we did nothing. As I say most weeks our wingbacks may as well sit in the stands with the rest of us.

After the first goal, wow, proper disjointed crap. Another spanking by Duff. The smell of inevitableness of it all. How many touches did we have in their box? No drive, no passion, no crosses, no shots, no nothing. Their right back that looked like the bad guy off die hard is exactly how both of our WBs should at least try to play.

Am a gonna drink wine and meditate on today.

I had no real malice for Evatt, but after hearing him say those things I have nothing but resentment for him now.

We have had a combined 71,000 supporters turn up in the last 3 home games, with nothing but support for the club, and we've been treated to absolute abysmal football, 3 defeats, 0 goals, 6 conceded.

Yet he can't deal with some boos? Get fucked

I'm already over that non event today

Which probably makes the overall feeling worse.Ive been through shit times with this club many times like a lot of people on here, but to already thinking balls to it shows how much we have gone backwards over the last 8 months

clear your desk & fuck off Evatt

I said 5, but he's had 2 or 3 and it's getting worse. Time to go.

Not an out right dig but there was hints that the unrest amongst the fans since Oxford isn't helping his mindset.

I took it very differently.

Basically said the negativity from the fans since Wembley is why the football has been so bad and mistakes are being made whilst trying to play.

Which is, of course, bollocks.

- A keeper being forced to play suicide football in his own 6 yard box gifting goals away

- A back three of big defenders constantly playing themselves into trouble & not even being able to defend a cross against one single attacker who isn't even an aerial threat

- Wing back's who whenever they cross the half way line always negatively turn back & offer no threat what so ever going forward

- Centre mids who are being exposed badly in the system, being overrun & giving the ball away an awful amount

- Millions of pounds of quality attackers for the level running around without a hope in hell of being able to muster up a quality chance for each other.

Fans' fault
