Size of club (relatively), ground, gate sizes (again relatively), the calibre of players we’ve got (according to recent investment levels), potential for future backing in the market, potential of the club in general, either given shares on day 1 (Evatt’s will be bought off him) or with the promise of them coming and ready made excuse for nearly a full season (don’t go up this season, its not going to be on the new manager) - we will not be struggling for options.

The investment has been wasted; McAtee, Forino, Schon have alll been garbage so far. Only Tuto looks a player along with the loanee Matete.

Our recruitment team most be the worst in all divisions

We said that about Collins when he came in - then turned into our best player for the last 10 games. I’m not writing any of the new lads off yet, the whole place is off and you can’t expect that they are any different to the other lot who know are better than they’re showing.

They all get a clean slate when a new manager comes in and I think a couple might surprise us. I think McAtee will do, there’s a player in there, pretty convinced you’d see a much better showing from Forino too and Matete has already showed what he can do in a failing team. I’m as confused as everyone with Schon, but again, I’ll reserve judgement for now.

Tuto is injury prone , mcatee only reason I can see why he signed him was that we needed a player who had a bit of balls about him which the team was  missing not seen anything from him ability wise . Schon don’t think he is good enough to  play wing back looks a vanity signing .   Farino might be ok in a back 4 back 3 your asking a lot of your centre half’s covering a lot of ground .
Dreading arsenal could be embarrassing

I agree, don't even think he has it in him to completely rip it up it would go against his whole idea of playing.

Side point but I really can't be doing with it when I see people saying club is a mess or all the pride has gone like I see on twitter. Fucking hell, the number of times in last 4 years where we've said "we've got our club back", some of them great victories and experiences, multiple last minute winners etc, shouldn't be forgotten.

We've has some great times, now it's gone stale and we need a change, hardly warrants people going on like we're in crisis though.

I agree with your sentiment, the club is as strong as its been in years.  But you mentioning the last minute winners made me realise we never get them now!  I'm probably only talking home matches, but coming away from the match after a last minute winner, or even equaliser, is a feeling like no other.  I just can't remember when it last happened.  Maybe JDB v Burton about 18 months ago?  If the first hour doesn't go our way it all just peters out, I can't even remember near misses or late excitement, nobody leaving early misses anything these days.

I would not like there to be a knee jerk reaction on the back of a poor outing.

yes we lost the game but I think there was a few positives to reflect back upon a day later.

I do not believe the players are playing for evitt but I think he can turn it around.

Chris Herd as a number 2 someone with a bit of experience as evitt looks lost and a worried figure.

back to basics 541 and a big lad up front. don’t change the management.

Is this a wind up? What positives? Oh yes, we had more possession as per!

Imagine betting against your own team.

And then being happy that you won your bet.

What a strange attitude, but each to their own.

If we were playing Man City and the odds for them were 10/1, you'd just leave that?  I expected us to lose yesterday, the odds were good.  As usual I was desperate for us to win, but we are worse than Huddersfield, and so I won a bet (for a change).

I bet on us to beat Exeter and Wrexham and was wrong, its a bit of fun to have a pre-match bet.  I want Bolton to win every game they play and I'm pissed off when we lose.   As if I need to explain for god's sake.

The bringing back former legends thing just doesn't work for me it just feels like a bit of a gimmick. I get what you mean about a lift, imagine the attention it would get as well if he did.

Tbh was going to say FV seem like they want to make modern progressive football decisions so would probably go for some young up and coming manger to start another "project", but not sure if FV are making the decisions now 😃

I agree, plus our name would be changed overnight to Sam Allardyce's Bolton Wanderers.

The last minute winners thing has definitely fallen away, always thought it was a sign of us being fitter and more relentless than the opposition.

Ended becoming such a regular occurrence a late goal and mental celebrations, remember thinking fucking hell we used to go 2 or 3 seasons between scenes like this and now it happens every other week 😃

The Swiss mob might fancy a foreign manager ?

Given some of the British names I’ve seen banded about today, I could get behind a left of field foreign manager I’ve never heard of.

We haven't got a big lad to play up front , that was from Evatts own mouth yesterday . And the reaction isn't based on A poor performance , it's based on the whole structure and mentality of the squad collapsing before our eyes .

You don’t need to explain at all.

I’m in awe and can’t understand why you’re not running the country. You are correct about everything.

Ahh I thought you meant financially, no one has any idea how deep their pockets are.

I honestly can not see a single reason to keep him and I keep repeating this one of the main reasons is for IEs personal state of mind.

Sharon's own comments before the select committee suggest we may have to go up.

She said we'd had to seek extra investment, as running costs were higher than expected.

If not this season, then maybe sales will be forced.
