Crawley Town (A)

Only just realised that it’s a half 12 kick off after playing Arsenal away midweek. Very quick turnaround. Does that alter team selection for the cup game or do we go full strength?

I think they probably all deserve a chance to go up against one of the country’s big boys but it can’t go costing us against Crawley.

Full strength for both, particularly as you’d assume the team will stay down there for the duration.

A positive performance on Wednesday and a win on Saturday and I think folk will be largely back on board.

Weds does not matter. Saturday does.

In your opinion. In my opinion, both games matter. A good cup performance can give confidence, promote players and the club, and raise a few quid.

Still not feeling it enough to go, happy to watch on tele

hope those go get rewarded

Must win. Another positive of yesterday was the results in the division. Hopefully a few more odd weeks and we can be back in the sniff, if we deliver our bit.

Sack the cup game, all in for this.

I have no idea who I want to win or lose in our division apart from Wigan

Anyone above us to lose if we win. Anyone below us if we lose😂

The more draws the better for me, it's only 2 points against us rather than 3 for a result.  I do think Brum & Huddersfield will be the 2 to catch though .

Anyway, IN, staying darn sarf after Arsenal, & Crawley is the one that matters.

If you had to choose to win one, which one would it be ?

I know it is not a real option, but I would take 3 points on Saturday ahead of a win Weds by a country mile.

Any win will do.

how am I watching it abroad ?

Not 0-2?

That would be massively 1 step forward, 10 steps back with ad Infinitum Groundhog Day repeat posts

Think I’d bow out for a while on here if that happened.

I'd expect Collins and Mcatee to start against Arsenal. Forino too.

This is the Crawley Town thread

Strong feeling we win this comfortably. 0-3

I think we’ll lose this. Regardless of form, I think it’s the kind of game we’d lose anyway. Long distance after a Wednesday night game against a top side.

got defeat written all over it in my opinion. I’m presuming we’ll be staying over for a few nights to help with the travel issues?

"top side"?

How does this operate for the team ?

Playing in Islington till nearly 10pm on Wednesday night, noon kick-off on Saturday, near Gatwick.

Recognising the two teams will have quite a few changes, do they return home, to go back down 24hrs later or stay South ?

They are staying down there
