Just another argument for the abolishment of social media if you ask me. Not saying the first guy was massively out of order, and if I was Santos' Mrs I wouldn't even be looking at it never mind responding but the lad on the DM to her can't be described as anything other than an out of line cunt!!

In summary.....no social media, no issue. 🙄

I don't care what anyone's posted or done.

Direct messaging a young lass calling her fucking slag amongst other things because she had the blind audacity to defend her husband from equally abhorrent abuse is fucking embarrassing.

The lad needs his teeth smashing in and she needs to stop reading social media and Santos needs to differentiate from the hell hole of social media and match going fans.

HBAHT btw

Baxter Santos and Sheehan have given most goals away this last twelve months..........Do i get on their backs  not a chance.

They along with Johnston, Thomason and Collins are our best players

They are brave to play it out but  it comes from the management..............Its ok having a go on here , but when they step out back them................They are following instructions

Personally I couldnt give a fuck if the players applaud the fans.

Used to be that the fans clapped the players and you just got a wave back . You dont go to the theatre and expect the cast to give you a round of applause for coming to see them .

If Santos does his job and plays well like Saturday, and wants to walk straight off down the tunnel then thats up to him and anyone that sulks about it needs their nappy changing.

Agreed. That's how it should be.

In the modern 'culture' though this is the done thing & since losing the captaincy he's chosen not to. It was clear from his wife's post that on-line criticism of his performance has pissed him, and her, off.

He has to move beyond that or he leaves. You can't show hatred for (some of) your fans & survive.

He’s not gonna shag you pal.

That's a relief. Ultimately as far as I'm concerned, Santos can do whatever the fuck he wants as long as he continues to perform as he did on Saturday.

I'm not going to cry that he didn't clap his hands

The thing is he won’t. Fucking fanny has a paddy if people call him shit.

Maybe he's a bit annoyed by thick cunts sending his wife and kids abusive messages?

Yep.

Not difficult to separate fair and reasonable criticism from abuse.

It has been mentioned in the fan report I'm the BN today.

Whatever folk think of the author's match reviews, he's spot on about this.

So if he has a stinker he has to come over to the fans at the end? 😀

Joking aside, if we play Cambridge away on a Tuesday night and its pissing it down, and we lose 2-0 and the players just walk off without acknowledging the fans, is that acceptable?

I personally don't care as I'm not one for hanging around after a game, but its not a good look if fans travel 200 miles, the players and manager under perform (Charlton) and then just walk off.  I think most fans are kidding themselves if they think that's what we'd expect from a set of players representing BWFC.

thirdly, i agree with you

he should acknowledge the fans

he can still know its likely theres some cunts amongst em, but theres also some cracking folk who put food on his table

watching the tv coverage, i was watching him at the end and baxter looks deep in conversation with him, arm round his shoulders - i assumed trying to get him to go to the support

sadly, it then cut away to a stats screen and by the time it came back santos was close to the tunnel and baxter was near to our fans

Just watched the last few minutes back on WanderersTV, because I'm a sad cunt. He was in conversation with Baxter for a few seconds before Baxter made his way towards the away end. But Toal and Matete left the pitch before Santos, and Johnston didn't stick around either. A load of fuss about fuck all.

I'm a big Santos fan & at Crawley, he played really well, his name was chanted several times & I didn't notice ( or would care much ) that he didn't come over at the end........but, on reflection, i'm very slightly insulted if he thinks that myself & the overwhelming majority of the Wanderers' fans there are the same as some prick on twitter who almost certainly wouldn't be there !!
