Matheson has looked ok whenever i have seen him and others agree on that. Nobody is saying he would have been any better than the other defenders last night, but if Matheson gets injured it would not have impacted the squad in anyway.

Not having a go at Evatt for last night on the whole i think he got the team right.  Would have taken Cogley off at h/t for Matheson with the game lost

The same people who could not tell our system had been worked out last season and came up with the lame excuse that injuries cost us promotion are the same people that are now not bothered we are  picking injuries up in meaningless cup ties

Tutu needed minutes to build his fitness. He's only going to get minutes in those cup games. His injury was an impact injury and had he not played, then appeared in the league the week after, he'd most likely have picked up a muscle injury. At that point, you'd have blamed Evatt for not playing him at Barrow
