CambridgeBWFC Posted October 19, 2024 Posted October 19, 2024 McAtee has played some brilliant balls from deep Quote
Whitestar Posted October 19, 2024 Posted October 19, 2024 Its coz we can't do the simple/safe stuff that we will need to score 3-4 to manage to win games. Quote
Wanderlust Posted October 19, 2024 Posted October 19, 2024 Jaysus. Where do you even begin to describe what went wrong with their goal? Quote
RUREADY2ROLL Posted October 19, 2024 Posted October 19, 2024 Arfield on ffs; you don’t know what you’re doing Quote
gonzo Posted October 19, 2024 Posted October 19, 2024 This Armfield chap could be the man's downfall. Quote

desperado Posted October 19, 2024 Posted October 19, 2024 Big shout out to players who sometimes get stick. Williams and Santos 👏👏 Quote
Zico Posted October 19, 2024 Posted October 19, 2024 That could possibly be the worst win I've ever seen Quote
Tonge moor green jacket Posted October 19, 2024 Posted October 19, 2024 Thank fuck for that. Will need to be better next game! Quote
CambridgeBWFC Posted October 19, 2024 Posted October 19, 2024 (edited) Glad that is over, should have been comfortable after Williams goal. Some good passages, some poor passages. But some comments sound like we lost. 3 points, hopefully get some bodies back for Tuesday Edited October 19, 2024 by CambridgeBWFC Quote
Didledee Posted October 19, 2024 Posted October 19, 2024 That last minute clearance from Santos could easily have ended up being a goal, rather from him missing it or it deflecting off his shin or summat past keeper. Burton won't be happy with our first and Randall took his goal very well, as for their goal, abysmal really. Quote
Jol_BWFC Posted October 19, 2024 Posted October 19, 2024 Sometimes you have to win ugly, but that was Sonia Jackson ugly. Quote
barrycowdrill Posted October 19, 2024 Posted October 19, 2024 Wins a win That back 3 is going to come under some serious pressure Tuesday. Team without a win in 10 now and with a minus GD of 10 wouldn’t say carved them open but got through very easily. be inclined to play Matete. Keeps the ball and keeps it ticking over pretty nicely along with giving the back 3 some much needed protection. Quote

1969 Posted October 19, 2024 Posted October 19, 2024 Just back but that was a pretty boring watch.Much to slow in the passing so Burton just sat in and as usual we struggled to break them down If it wasn't for William's quick thinking we would not have won Crowd very quiet, hardly any atmosphere 3 points is 3 points so job done Mom Dempsey Quote

Tonge moor green jacket Posted October 19, 2024 Posted October 19, 2024 Just now, gonzo said: Tuesday could be embarrassing. Mad though, that with a game in hand, we could be just 3 points behind 2nd place. Going to have to get better, especially in defence, but the opportunity is there if they want it. Please though, not 2 midfielders on Tuesday. Quote
wakey Posted October 19, 2024 Posted October 19, 2024 win's a win, but still feel flat and frustrated after watching that. At least with Brum there's no concern about performance - just grind out a result any old way and it'll do nicely. Quote

Genuine question, Why is it ok to grind a win against Brum and not worry about a performance but it’s not against Burton? appreciate we could’ve played better today but don’t get why it’s different for different opposition?
