 I’m not sure I’ve had one ever in my life. Even when I tried being vegan for a few months.

You've never made, nor had a moong dal?

Either whole or split. 

Similarly with Urad, Toor, Chana, Vaal, etc.

Or even the humble red lentil.

Always feel quite good in the morning after consuming one. Healthy stuff.

I’ve had the split pea daal & Chana. Looks like I have had a mung bean after all 😂

I think you need to confirm this 100%.

Get some split moong. Whole takes longer.

Grab yourself a recipe from t'internet.

Make a load and freeze some.

Accompany it with spinach and potato curry and a meat one of your choice.

Flat breads, and sides. Sorted.
