Just got ours. 👍

That website never gets any less stressful does it. 4 times it kicked me out after approving payment and then had to keep starting all over again

We have a young person to buy ours now, us older ones were too slow.

  • The title was changed to Mansfield Town (A)

again, pissing about and it isnt recognising my kids CRN!

If you ring the ticket office they can sort this issue. It is something to do with the kids client reference not being approved on your account. When you add it there is an email that says you are good to use it. Most of the time this isn’t done.

Just checked website, official twitter and BWFC ticket twitter and didn’t see anything advertised about these going on sale today??

Mansfield have recently installed a "safe standing area" in the corner of the main stand , The Ian Greaves Stand . A "Crazy Corner ", alongside the "away end" . The rise of the stand is steep so I think it's been done for safety reasons

This has been installed mid season , just saying .

I hope the wanderers players can keep the crazy corner quiet, but I won't hold my breath

I think they are doing up the old stand opposite also .

Just hope Mansfield isn't as intimidating as Cambridge now...

It's only a small stand , Bishop Street, terraced houses right up to the old entrances / exits, it's a tricky redevelopment , for such a small area.

It's a long way from being finished

Sit/stand where you want. Doesn't matter what your ticket says.

There was a video about it on their facebook page a while ago , really complex like you say . Other than the friendly it's our first time being in the North Stand , always used to be the Quarry Lane end i.i.r.c

Saw it online that its traditionally home fans and they got moved out, few fans were a bit miffed that away fans get the newest stand.

Yes I saw the video on YouTube, the old bloke , a club director,  running the show was very enthusiastic.

I've watched us from Quarry lane a few times , first time when we won promotion to div 1 in 77/78 .

Always had a soft spot for the stags , Ian Greaves , Neil Whatmore they even had Frankie Worthington for a short spell .

Yes , i think they had a few years of pockets of Aggro , they have a few rivalries , as well as Notts county there is Chesterfield , Grimsby , Lincoln and Doncaster .

Me too , i nip to a game occasionally if i'm bored  as it's only 10 miles or so from me .

My first time there was 1986 with my dad , Whatmore and i think Mike Graham were playing for them , with Ian Greaves managing ,  and last year Paul Hanley gave me a copy of the full game ( cheers Paul) and you can see me and my late dad on there clear as anything . That was pretty emotional .

I remember going to Mansfield on the back of a near 400-game unbeaten run to get spanked 4-0 in a shit evening game.

And there were loads of shrieking kids in that stand down the side to make it even worse than it was.

March 91.  5 of us took the afternoon off and went by car and 1 refused to leave before the final whistle, it often came up in future get togethers as 1 of the low points of following us away.

That was the year we contrived to blow promotion on goal difference.  4 wins in 13 games in Feb/March, we only needed 1 more point 😠
