Wycombe Wanderers (A)

I’m hovering over the cancellation button on our hotel…. The only thing that is stopping me, is the chance we may have a new manager, which would inject some hope of a new beginning.

I mean Christ it would be some baptism of fire, with a bunch of midfielders unavailable and only 1 fit reserve central defender, against top of the league. But I think it would be a free hit for a new manager wouldn’t it?

Spoke to a few away ST holders, all of them have used this as one of their five returns.

Is anyone going??!

If Forrester is dropped next week after that he may as well pack his bag and leave right there and then. There’s not even the excuse anymore of Santos being ©️ he’s been patient, got his chance a

Quite enjoyed the game. Didn't think it was dire, shit or embarrassing as some have described it. Good point away from home against top of the league.

Press. We won’t.

Going? Not a chance

I'll watch first half and then decide if I bother with the second. Given the players we've got out I foresee a three or four nil-er.

In. Really don’t want to be, but already paid for trains and dovetails nicely with Christmas travel plans.

The thought of how much time will spent over the next few weeks watching these twats is incredibly deflating, mind.

Don’t think it counts btw as it was a date change from the original fixture list. Which makes it all the more daft that I’m going 🙃

I wouldn’t bother hovering because there’s no way Evatt’s going whilst we’re still so close to the play offs so I’d cancel now if I were you. As long as the other fringe contenders are as inconsistent as we are it will keep Evatt in a job whilst all the time the top 3 keep winning and moving further ahead. ☹️

  • The title was changed to Wycombe Wanderers (A)

I'm heading down under for Christmas

This will kick off at 5.45am

If I sleep through my alarm so be it

Fair play mate 👏

I was talking to @marple whites I’m sure he said this didn’t count as a fixture change for some reason and would have to be one of your five to send back… but I may have misunderstood.

It’s a hell of a commitment from all of us in the current circumstances, especially for you away ST holders.

I’ve loved the away occasions these last 4 years and always find a way, win, lose or draw to enjoy the day/weekend… There’s been some great memories

But for me there has to be that spark, that hope, that togetherness, passion, to make the decision to go in the first place.

I don’t think it’s an overreaction to say I’m losing this currently. And I’m usually one of the positive ones!! 😩

The only appealing thing about Mansfield at the minute is it’s a new ground.

It's a free hit for Away ST holders.

It was scheduled for the Saturday as part of the regular programme.
It has been moved at Wycombe's request, not TV etc so you can send the ticket back.

It inconveniences all Bolton fans, but our owner conveniently lives down the road from Wycombe and agreed to the switch.

each to their own.

Be better than watching the Wycombe game I suppose.

I was intending to go but after yesterday’s performance they can fuck off.

Daughter wanted to go to the Barnsley game on Boxing Day and was going to move my season ticket so we could sit together but I am not going now.

unlikely to go again until they fuck him off

really pissed off

Is that an offer 😜

3-0 and the same bullshit excuse s from the bell end

Also had an invite in January for the bond holders evening with speeches from Sharon and Evatt. Had accepted with my daughter as my guest but e-mailed the woman organising the event last night saying we won’t be going as long as IE is still trying to manage the team

Anyone can have my season ticket until he gets the sack. And I won’t bother renewing again regardless

He will take that as a positive result - tbh  I think it will be more

Honestly, the type of side we are with our inconsistent performances, i would'nt rule out a 1-2 win. But it could also be 4-0.

Our record in games away at top sides is worse than our record against local rivals.

Easy 2-0. We'll miss a chance at some point which 'would've changed it'.

Another line trotted out will be that the game was about “moments”.  Can hear it now. In fact he can probably pre-record his post match interview now.

1-3 season turning point.

Missing our best 3 defenders and beat 2 midfielders going away to top of the league

Wouldn't surprise me if we got bummed

Likewise this is the sort of game you find a win of nowhere

I'm going to that as my wife fancies a "free" meal and she admires Sharon (generally, not getting involved in the IE stuff) and is interested in the Q&A stuff.

By then its either going to be new manager territory or a fairly uncomfortable set of questions for Sharon presumably.

I’ll be there. Not sure boycotting it will even register.

Certainly a good opportunity for questions to be asked. Maybe not ‘when are you sacking Ian’ but plenty to ask around the role of investors, Sharon’s long term plans, thoughts on the season to date, etc.

Looking forward to it.
