Transfers to move the needle?

IE says we have money to spend on 2 or 3 1st 11 players.

I don't know what move the needle means. But I wonder who we have in mind. Vic for one has to be moved out ....

I think the following will leave in January.

santos

baxter

charles (decent money)

vic

Sheehan (decent money)

Wrexham to come in with a big bid for Sheehan.

Morley back.

Someone puts a bid in for Santos, which is rejected, so the big man downs tools in a fit of pique.

Out so called experienced midfielder, loaned out.

Incoming: no idea. :)

Just can’t see Morley coming back he just doesn’t fit Evatt’s style and I suspect a deal has already been done with Wycombe. Baxter and Santos out for me only to ensure we get some cash in for them before their contracts run out. May be offers for Sheehan and Dion but I just can’t see the Victor offers being genuine. No idea who we’re bringing in but I would love for Paris to be one of them but only if it’s a permanent

We need a different option up front than we currently have - somebody who can hold the ball up. We also need somebody in midfield who can run with the ball and offer something different (we’re not going to get another Maghoma but somebody who can provide a bit of the unexpected)

Big lad up top and a midfielder to challenge Dempsey should be priority.

Being honest any one can go to raise funds

You’re obsessed with Victor.

I’m sure he features in most of your posts. Starting to think he’s done something to your family.

Blink once if you’re in trouble

Doubt much movement out at all.

We’ll bring two in. Three if Morley is sold. Quite clear Wycombe will be given a number and a deadline. Regardless of that, almost certain there’ll be a dynamic midfielder coming in (Dempsey will get injured again) and a goal scorer

And yet Vic starts every game.

Pace.

If IE believes we need 3 players for the first XI what's he been doing in the past 3 windows ?

If only every single transfer worked....

Managet has said on more than one occasion that there will be incomings and outgoings.

In todays article, unless I misread it, he said he doesn’t expect any movement out.

Morley will be sold because I just can't see a scenario where Evatt admits that another manager got a tune out of him, whereas he couldn't. For the sake of Evatt's (massive) ego Morley will leave.

That makes no sense.

Good grief.

So even if he thought Morley would give him a better chance of promotion, Evatt would still sell him!

He might get sold, but that won’t be the motive.

Haha. I am obsessed with Vic. He does feature in most of my recent posts. He's stealing a living. He wouldn't get goals at any professional level. There I go again..

Well, he'll be right in one ort'other.

Incrediably he hardly touched the ball last night. Not fot the 1st time. When he does he struggles to control it.

We need some steel in the middle, preferably two full backs, some pace out wide and big lad up top.

For 300th time. Morley asked to leave and was agitating for a while about his lack of first team football. Evatt couldn't guarantee him any so he went out on loan.

He didn't want to sit on the bench and that's exactly where he'd have spent most of this season.

He doesn't get in to our midfield when all are fit.

Will there be money to spend or will he have to generate it from sales?

But but but, Evatts an arrogant cunt. He’s stubborn. He hates the fans.

He was really nasty to Dapo.

Now he’ll sell Morley because he doesn’t want to admit he was wrong

He’s just a really bad man.

Theres money to spend. Two coming in. Third will be IF Wycombe meet Morley valuation and we need an extra midfielder.

Focus will be on the first and last of those I reckon. If we didn't change formation last night we won't do it the rest of the season.

In a 532 a strong midfielder and striker who can hold the ball up would make a difference though.
