Me too. Thought his humour got a little samey later on. But he was excellent on WLIIA.

That documentary on Slattery a couple of years back was a grim watch.  He was wrestling with so many demons, the poor chap.

Tony Book - I only found out from the obituaries yesterday, he was playing non league football until he was in his 30s.

Yeah got caught with a load recently didn't he? Met him a few times on nights out, lovely bloke but was always off his face.
