I know what you mean although MGE was a great album . I'm just doing some decorating so I've stuck Music for Pleasure on full whack , another great album.

He pretty much wrote MFP as well as the first album but agree MGE was very good. Christ I wasn’t even 16 when that came out

Proper gutted about Brian James! In the last few days I’ve seen a lot of photos of him from late 70s, actually a bloody good looking bloke. When they did the original line-up reunion gig a couple of years back at the Apollo, he looked ill. Said then that I didn’t expect him to have much more time left on this earth.

Love all 5 of The Damned’s first albums. DDD, MFP, MGE, TBA and Strawberries. If I had to choose my favourite, would be MGE.

I read he had a collection of wigs. Each slightly longer than the other so it looked like his hair grew. When he needed a ‘haircut’ he started with wig number one again.
