Very much the same feeling. Can’t claim that he’s definitely the right one for x and y reason but he did just seem like the best “fit” from the off.

Ive just seen a full interview with him at the reebok, he talks well and seemed surprisingly likeable for a scouser.

Happy with this appointment.  No pressure from me for this season, he's been left with IEs squad with little chance to put it right this week so any progress before the summer is a bonus, he'll know what he needs to do in 3 months time.   Just a breath of fresh air to have a new approach and new ideas incoming.

As much as I think this is a great appointment for us, at the same time, it's a great opportunity for him.

I think you’re the only person I’ve seen express a negative opinion of him.

Very unusual for one manager to have such a large swell of positivity prior to appointment.

Let’s hope he gets you onside, cause if he does we’re winning games and set for one hell of a ride.

Replace the word Scouser and that's exactly what I thought when Coyle got the job. 

Fantastic appointment and one that lifts the dark cloud. Be great to get a sense of belief and hope back

Had a feeling he's been waiting in the wings since before Xmas, as he was not considered by other teams. The club couldn't really act until it became a no brainer with the situation we ended up in. Great appointment. Now let's get promoted!
