FROM 2020

The branch has since had several different homes, including the King William pub in Egerton and later the Beaumont Arms in Ladybridge, Bolton before moving to its current home, Horwich RMI Club on Chorley New Road.

Probably in Chorley by now

Tbf we had Fylde Coast BW supporters club over here with over 200 members at one point.

Lancaster Whites and London Supporters club.

Chorley was a big one back in the day.

If the Bolton Citeh SC was going twenty years' ago I'd agree with you. But it hasn't and is just another glory hunting embarrassment.

And I don't think anyone can level the Lancaster or Chorley Whites as ever being glory hunters! 😁

I know a lad who is in it. I went to school with him. He was always a city fan. He went through a phase of going down to Burnden to watch us. Think that had more to do with a few of his mates were Bolton fans. Who remembers Mongy? Well, he was one of them. Anyway, it doesn't surprise me that he's in that picture.

I think it’s quite funny. 31 of em. Great chance for them to see those trophies won 15 miles away.

Bet it’s tricky working out all the coach/travel logistics, seeing as they are so far away and cut off from a train network.

Mind you being so far away from their Manchester friends, it’s nice they’ve created a community that can connect and bond as one, it must be difficult getting home and seeing family and friends on a regular basis.

Formed in 1980

Well if that is really the case they should be commended for getting up to a massive 31 members in 45 years. I wonder how many there were pre Pep and the none stop success since. If 1980 is correct and if it's the same outfit now as all the way back then they have truly bucked the trend of attracting glory hunters and bandwagoners, so fair play to them.

This city had no fans thing really is a bit of myth.

Obviously they've recently attracted hordes of glory hunters and kids across the country but it's not like they were some minows like Preston or summet.

Their away followings have always been absolutely huge. They took massive followings all over the place.

Anyone that went to Maine Road will vouch for how tasty it could be.

They were a massive club long before the Arabs turned up.
