Its like there's less interest from our fans than v Mansfield for a night match in December, 19.8k tickets sold for that so over 19k Bolton. Unless Brum aren't bringing more than about 2k? Quote
BOWTUN BAKED Posted March 4 Posted March 4 No trains back for the Brummies, so it'll be drive mostly Quote

barrycowdrill Posted March 4 Posted March 4 8 or 9 players out for them, get in to em from the off Quote
bolton va va Posted March 4 Posted March 4 The bookies don't fancy our chances, 4-0 @ 150/1 and 4-1 @ 125/1 should pay for my season ticket 😊. Quote
Whitesince63 Posted March 4 Posted March 4 We might just surprise on the upside for once tonight and pull off a “Sunderland” type result? I know it’s probably being super optimistic but with all the injuries they have and our growing confidence you just never know so 3 or 4 tonight for the Whites would be a real boost. Of course I will have taken my meds by then! 🤪 Quote

So their two main strikers who cost 16 million pound are out, and it means nothing? Think you need to see a doctor pal! Quote

I wouldn't say it means nothing, as they're obviously impacted. Just not as much as others would be, when they've still got possibly the 2nd best striker in the division playing for them tonight I think we'll give them a good go tonight and it'll be an even match, but we're just too soft and concede too many easy goals at home. 3-1 to Brum Quote

Ani Posted March 4 Posted March 4 Play 2 in midfield we get beat. Play 3 or 4 and we have a chance. Tutu,McAtee and Lolos are not midfielders Sheehan Morley and Tomo to start for me. Quote

Sure they might have to use some lowly million pound striker or Juke up top but they will hardly struggle to replace the likes of Stansfield. I’d be inclined to pick Matete and George to stir it up but I doubt it will happen so I’m interested in seeing how Schuey goes about it. Could be a feisty battle tonight and we’ll need to be very disciplined. Quote

I don't have a problem with 2 wide players in a 4 with two central midfielders- he managed to get a result before with Sheehan and Morley in there, but it didn't work at Wrexham, and had to be changed. I do feel another body (physical presence) in there will help largely. That said, I don't know if Brum play more football than Wrexham, but if so, then we may be able to combat that a bit more than the direct physicality we have seen from Orien and Wrexham. Would be good to get ahead for once, ideally quite early to get the players and crowd boosted, and not so apprehensive. Quote

Under IE we would probably have gone with the same predictable system and approach. Quote
