is this a 12.30 kick off?

they don't normally play last game at 3pm

i really hope it's 12.30 becuase there's a last day of the season session lined up and I'd just rather get the game out the way and get on with the boozing

Since when has it been hard to buy tickets for home games?

i didnt say it was- but its for a recently separated mum who is taking her young son to his first game; i have sorted her out, but she has two older kids... she's on her arse after being cut off financially, her abusive ex still controlling her, making all decisions and generally being a bastard; she is desperate for something to look forward to

given the general apathy i thought i'd ask the question to those who cant be arsed going and they have a 'nice' family day out instead

And its not cheap to buy tickets for individual games, as I discovered v Wycombe.  £30 adult and £17 for an U18 - a hard sell.

I really feel the club should have acted outside the box post-Lincoln and reduced prices to £10 (£5 kids) for this, a bit of a gesture for the poor season.  And in practise wouldn't cost the club hardly anything.  It might even bring in a few extra fans, but even if it didn't, it would be an acknowledgement/apology for the season that wouldn't do any harm relations wise.  £30 for a L1 game that has absolutely nothing going for it, has to be a first.

I think that the club are only allowed to reduce standard ticket prices for 2 games per season, and these are the designated 'Community' Days. So, even if they wanted to, they can't. Pretty sure it's an EFL ruling (but happy to be proved wrong on that).

In theory it seems daft but i guess if they have carte blanche to do it, then ST holders would moan it's not worth getting a season ticket. As always, they are stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Anyway, i will be there. Unconditional love innit
