Popular Post FrancisFogarty Posted June 5 Popular Post Posted June 5 Mrs Fogarty has been signed off from everyone after her stroke. She's almost 100% back to normal. The next pysio slot the've got for her is in 6/8 weeks andthe physio reckons all being well she won't need it. Thanks for everyones best wishes. They made a difference when things were looking bleak. She went out on her own terms, at home with a minimal amount of fuss. She wasn't ill and wasn't in pain, her body finally gave up and now she's at peace. Thank you all for your kind words and support. Chris x Funeral tomorrow. Quote

Thank you, I'm carrying the coffin and speaking at the church. Be glad to get it over with, but I won't be going to the wake. I'm glad yours went as well as it could. Quote

Popular Post Traf Posted June 6 Popular Post Posted June 6 All went smoothly and to plan, thanks guys. Lengthy Catholic Church service at Our Lady of Lourdes in Farnworth followed by a shorter one at Overdale. I swerved the wake, though. Quote
Not in Crawley Posted June 6 Posted June 6 Not family but my co Director has been diagnosed with breast cancer. She caught it early but it's Grade 3 so that means quite a intensive chemotherapy treatment for 6 months. She's only 44 - doing well but it's been a shocker. Sorting out insurance cover for not being able to work; but when illness hits for small businesses it's stressful for everyone - not least the person going through it. Quote

Or sorting out claiming on the insurance ? We had key man insurance when had my own business. Fortunately never needed which given my Business Partners health record is a miracle. Edited as that sounded very cold, hope she makes a good recovery and your business is not too badly affected . Edited June 6 by Ani Quote
Ani Posted June 9 Author Posted June 9 My step mum passed away over the weekend. We were not close as we have hardly seen or heard from her since my dad passed away 10 years ago. Only mentioning is we have 3 on the thread and we can now move on. Quote
