Dr. Feelgood Posted May 4 Posted May 4 I assume Ms. Brittan was there yesterday. She has been unusually quiet since Evatt left & that is known to have been against her better judgement. Have we broken her ? I hope not, very much I do. We owe her a great deal even if her Evatt loyalty went too far, for too long. Quote
Lt. Aldo Raine Posted May 4 Posted May 4 I'm not sure she's been unusually quiet She generally doesn't comment on footballing matters (this season's ill-judged vote of confidence aside), except for an end of season message, which I think is a good thing I can't stand chairman who constantly stick their oar in Quote
Lt. Aldo Raine Posted May 4 Posted May 4 She was pictured at the women's team's trophy lifting fwiw Quote
tomski Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Yeah agree with the LT. Also I think they’ll be an acknowledgment this season is on her. Not a lot to say really is there. Quote
Eddie Posted May 4 Posted May 4 She’s probably at home eating her breakfast. Absolutely zero need for a chairman to be saying anything publicly post the new manager appointment. Leave it all up to him to say. (She was at Wigan away for whatever it’s worth) Quote
Popular Post Whitesince63 Posted May 4 Popular Post Posted May 4 I think she should send me a personal written apology for our complete failure this season and with a promise to ensure she gets it right this time round. 🤪 Quote
Lostock Whites Posted May 4 Posted May 4 (edited) She was there yesterday I don't personally think she needs to come out and say anything although she probably will. She's a great person and done a lot of good for the club, but her awful decision-making the past 12 months and personal loyalty to Evatt has set the club back massively. L/H White Posted May 4 Posted May 4 She was sat a few rows behind me the other week, looked like she'd aged 10 years Quote
ianofcleveleys Posted May 4 Posted May 4 I'm sure she'll have been doing a lot of reflecting over the last few weeks, and be doing more over the next few. She's an intelligent and decent person, with laudable values and, while things with the first team have panned out disastrously, she's still overseen the club doing some good things in a wider sense. The youth team's progress has been great to see and the move to integrate and fully promote the women's team has been a huge success, really noticeable how many young girls are seen at home games now, proudly wearing their women's team shirts. That's got to be a positive worth applauding. Quote
Rizlar Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Sharon made an error of judgement nobody is perfect she will learn . At least we know the board will not sack a manager if he loses a few games like some . Quote

Farnywhite Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Probably trying to work out how to possibly persuade the investors to get there hands in there pocket again won’t be as much trust this time round Quote

desperado Posted May 4 Posted May 4 She was on our train down to Peterborough last week. Didn’t spot her until getting off. She was in good spirits and chatting to some of our fans. Home games, fundraising, community events, the women’s games celebrating their achievements. Surely we shouldn’t be expecting her to be more visible than this should we??!! Quote
