What I would say is that the Isthmian League is probably the highest standard of all three feeder leagues in to the National League. Plus they did have a good long look at him first hand and clearly saw potential. Quote

Following Evatt's departure, and Etete, then he wouldn't be so hasty unless it was felt that the lad can play. I also see SS as being more pragmatic, and not looking too far ahead- his brief is to get us up. He has said he wants width, pace and good finishing. He has said he will give youth a chance. Anyway, he's not here yet! Quote
