The fact a derailment has made 2.5 hours late is irrelevant; this is always the correct response

  • It's a massive gamble but one I'm all for. I honestly couldn't face another season of that weak as piss mentality getting bullied and battered by fuckers like Stockport. Let's just have a fu

First Home Stevenage

First away Barnsley

Bradford (H) first game

Last away, Posh - again.

Wigan away on a Tuesday night following Blackpool away the previous Saturday - again

As soon as the places were decided, I had the thought of starting against Bradford.

Think it happened a little while ago?

Stockport away on a wet, dark winter's day.

Never played them first game in my lifetime, but you might be thinking of Sep 2016 when they came here with 4k fans a couple of months after joining us from Bradford.  Every time one of our defenders booted the ball they gave it "whoosh".

Which ground will we get the largest allocation bar them tw@ts ?

Whoever,  we,ll have them away first game please

Barnsley probably

That may well be the time.

Certainly a good number.

Didy realise it was in the September though- thought it was earlier.

Huddersfield is reasonable isn't it?

Not the biggest, but decent.

I’m going to 3 away games this season, Orlando pirates, Hibernian, and Wigan.

Aye a good away day is that.

Huddersfield at home

shades of 92/93

I remember going, 15 year old, with my dad

he took us in some pub before the game, cannot remember which, but what i do recall is it was fairly busy

then some lad ran in and shouted "loads of Huddersfield just got off at the station" and everyone ran out in a hurry to meet them

Looking forward to Bradford as an away day. Not arsed who and when the fixtures play out. Schueys boys will have the league trembling this year. Bring it on.

last  time I went there was the Sunday 12pm kick off in 98/99

got there at about 10am

didn't think we'd find anywhere for a beer, just wondering around, then stumbled across some working men's club opposite a cop shop

looked shut

then someone popped out from the back and said to come in through the back door

was packed in there, not even football fans half of them, just folk who'd either stayed out all night or started early

1983 - Our first season back in the lower divisions. I'd only seen us play in the top two divisions before then. Opening day, we got Wimbledon at home.  It was a stark reminder of the level we'd fallen to.

It'll be the same this time or Stevenage away. Something to make me upset about Oxford again.

Beat Wombles

Beat Chester LC

Beat Bradford

Downhill from then including losing second leg of Chester LC on pens from, I think, 3 up

Had the Walsall humdinger shortly after too but yeah, by December, the wheels had pretty much come off.

Before that Chester 2nd leg we had the famous 8-1 v Walsall (Caldwell 5).

After 5 league and cup games, we'd scored 15 and conceded 3.

I went to Chester and Scunthorpe, both midweek, scored 0, conceded 4.  Welcome to Div 3.

Plenty of crap games and low crowds but the high of winning at Wigan on boxing day then beating Oxford 24 hours later to go 2nd.
