freds dad Posted November 12 Posted November 12 As we aren’t playing this weekend I’ve decided to go and watch another team instead of being dragged round the shops by SWMBO. Do I go and watch Macc v Prescott Cables in the FA Trophy 2nd round or Port Vale v Wycombe? I’ve only chosen these as they’ve the nearest matches to home or any other suggestions welcome. Quote
Popular Post gonzo Posted November 12 Popular Post Posted November 12 Find a pub with a telly and a fire and plonk down there for the day. Whack a few accas on convince yourself the barmaids after a slice. Tell the Mrs you've been to Barnoldswick vs Biggleswade in the Zenith Data Systems East Coast Main Line Cup. Quote
Ani Posted November 12 Posted November 12 We are either going watching Albion Sports V Frickley ! (Yoofs G/f brother plays for them) then beer and curry in Bradford Or sitting in a pub in Ilkley all day ! Quote

little whitt Posted November 12 Posted November 12 Going Southport on the Train for a few Pints in the Afternoon Quote
Leyther_Matt Posted November 12 Posted November 12 Getting the train back from Stevenage (🙄) in time to go to Atherton Colls v Avro and a few pints Neither of those would take my fancy tbf @freds dad Macc charge a fortune to get in and nobody really takes the FA Trophy seriously. And it’s hard enough having the motivation to go to Vale for a Bolton game, never mind as a neutral 😂 Congleton v Newcastle Town could be an option for you. Great pies and presumably some sort of inter-Stokie rivalry Quote
Dr Faustus Posted November 12 Posted November 12 thinking of either Colls or FCUM for a change- have a mooch around town after the lads game Quote
frank_spencer Posted November 12 Posted November 12 I'm having a do nothing day, joggers and footy shirt slob about on the sofa eating my own weight in biscuits. Quote
