Probably an easy thing to say because who knows what was going through that passer by's mind, what he'd seen or heard, as I imagine he's traumatised, but I'm sure many would have used the gun on the cunt as he was cowering away.

Would/could a normal member of the public use a gun like that? I honestly don't know. Is it just a "point and pull trigger" thing? - also, your average civilian, isn't going to find it easy to shoot somebody a few feet away from them I wouldn't have thought, no matter what the situation

Oh of course, suppose I meant how many would want to or try to use the gun they'd just picked up.

I hope the man (named as Ahmed al Ahmed) pulls through, and he can live his life knowing that he may have been responsible for saving a number of other lives, rather than knowing he shot someone dead - however much they deserved it.

Strange though that the most welcoming nations seem to suffer the most attacks.

I doubt Albanese will be going on anymore pro-Palestine marches any time soon.

Try asking the Jewish communities if they believe that these politicians and marches are playing into the hands of extremists.

I've already heard from one in the area who has warned about the rise of antisemitism and threats there, and the fears an attack was coming.

Doesn't matter what party it is: they're all culpable.
