Definately owe them one, after they beat us at their's. On paper we've got the easier match of the clubs in the top eight. Nothing less than 3 points.

They ran Lincoln close yesterday so this won’t be an easy game.

Must win.

Pretty much case for all home games now if want to make 2. Need to preserve good home form even for play offs.

There's a good chance we go 9 points clear of the chasing pack on Tuesday

Did not realise of the top 9 , the other 8 are all playing each other.

Fuck apart from Stockport but they are away as Mr Evatts lot so assume Randel will rip them apart.

Good news

Missed him massively yesterday

Aye we did big style.

He's 100% our most integral player.

First game for 3 months after family illness/bereavement.  Hate watching these guys (Burton not us) - any win has been a scrape and a tough watch. Hoping for a 3-0 coast for a change 🤞.

Get a few beers in hotel and some nice food pal. Hope it's a good one for you.

Yesterday’s display was poor. And a massive factor in this was the number of games we’ve played compared to Orient.

Burton played on Thursday and have two days extra rest. And they’ve played 5 games in 25 days compared to our 7.

This will be a factor and the crowd need to be patient. Expect a few changes to freshen up. Possibly Dempsey, Sheehan and Forino in. We ‘should’ win but I think it’ll be another turgid 90 minutes.

Burton’s 5 included Reading, Plymouth and Lincoln away and Huddersfield at home.

We’ve had a squad that has been so big, with so many not able to fit even in the match day 17 that we’ve been happy to trim it down - I can’t imagine Burton have that luxury.

We’re 3rd and they’re 20th

I accept there needs to be patience and to be honest, any win will do, but this idea that we’re hard done to with the number of games is a bit overly defensive of the team / performances. We weren’t shit on Saturday because we’d played 2 more games since Boxing Day compared to Orient - we couldn’t have wished for a better / easier run over the traditionally hardest part of the season. We were just a bit shit, but we won.
