Was desperate to tick this one off this season but mother in law having a knee replacement 2 days before. Far from ideal.

Changing the tick to Cardiff instead. Hoping it doesn't get shifted for TV.

My first ever visit to Exeter sorted. Hotel booked and looking forward to seeing the city, as well as the match.

Cathedral & it's area are breathtaking.

The city itself was bombed to fck by some Germans, left to go stale then built quite tasteless in the 60's.

Thanks for the tip. I had identified the cathedral as a place to visit. I’ll major on this area, when I arrive on Friday.

I’ll look round other areas on the Saturday morning, before making my way up to St James Park.

If weather decent try the Quay area for alfresco beers. Else Cathedral or a train down either side of the Estuary towards Exmouth or Dawlish your best bet. Dull as ditchwater on the whole.

Aye, that Topsham brewery taproom down the Quayside was a great place for a few beers of an evening when we went last season. A trailer outside doing belting pizzas as well.

I'd recommend there either Friday or Saturday night @Rival Son

That's hardcore! About 9 hours driving there and back with a clear run?

On the train. About 4.5 hours each way.

Gutted to be missing this. Exeter is a great away day. Those pubs by the river and the best Wetherspoons in the country! 😂

But serious family issues/health, have curtailed my away days this season.

Think the biggest thing I miss is that temporary break away from the negativity of social media. 1200 people (for at least 8 hours!) will have genuine hope and belief that we’ll win on Saturday. Not only win, but win and still be in with a chance of the top two - I cringe posting that because away from that moment and dealing with folk who’ve never experienced (or forgotten) that feeling, it’s deemed as delusional, happy clappy nonsense.

But enjoy it boys and girls. EIEIEIO, The Whites Are Going Up. Sing your hearts out and believe that this can still turn into a great promotion winning season

COYFWM 👏
