Ceuta is in North Africa, not mainland Spain. Seems to be something everyone is forgetting to point out.

Plenty of people go to Morocco for their holidays. It can't be that bad. Them getting in to Cueta was easy for them. The difficult bit is getting to Spain. They have no pocessions, a lot of them , no shoes or clothes or money.

They do, I went once, it was fucking grim. I then clearly didn't learn my lesson, and went to Tunisia a few years later, and that was even grimmer. Most of the hotel went down with food poisoning (cryptosporidium) - I didn't start getting ill until I got on the plane home, and spent most of the flight in the bog, shitting out my intestines.

By the way, when back in the UK, the Doctor told me that cryptosporidium is basically caused by the ingestion of fecal matter. I was rough as fuck for about a month

It's put me right off North Africa, which is a shame as I always fancied Egypt, but no chance now

Morocco is the least favourite place I've ever visited. And I tend to like most places I go to. Or at least try to make the best of them. Shite food, expensive to get a drink, treated contemptuously.

I normally find something I like in most places I visit - there is only Morocco and Tunisia that I've visited and absolutely hated. Morocco, it pissed it down for the entire week as well, just to make it worse

Crypto is a nasty little number that gets into water supply from farm run offs and will survive the whole water treatment process until zapped with UV.

Did Agadir once and was alright but has its own micro climate so fairly cool when surrounds were baking. Getting big with golfers as decent courses third of price of Algarve.

Been to Tangier and Casablanca and they are rancid places. Filthy, moody as fuck and folk ripping you off left right and centre

The ferry across from Algeciras was the worst boat trip of my life. The swell in the Straits of Gibraltar was so bad virtually the whole ferry were being sick so vomit was sloshing round the floor. Still preferred being on the boat than in Morocco though

Aye my brother nearly pegged it when we were kids after getting salmonella in Tunisia.

Ended up on the children's ward at the vic all wired up and stuff.

I have never been to Morocco or Tunisia due to reading some horror stories.

Even Egypt can be hit and miss in Sharm and Hurghada.

Italy have already suspended/closed their Schengen border with Spain. France also expected to do the same very soon
