February 1, 200521 yr A lot will depend on the draw, but our record against the "big" teams in recent years must give us a good chance (plus the big boys may still have europe around the later games). I'm with Fishbulb on this one 5th Round v Fulham (H) 1-0 6th Round v Southampon (H) 2-1 Semi Final v Chelski (Cardiff) 2-1 Final v Man Ure (Cardiff) 1-0 [-o<

February 1, 200521 yr And we'll all get a ticket!!!!!!! You can only ask for so much Micky - I think even that would be out of Gods hands I'd like to think I would get a ticket; four in fact for me wife and two kids, because I think nothing about getting up at two in the morning and standing freezing my bollox off. It's certain that not a single ST holder will be taken in by the 'postal applications' line next time! I really do feel it should be ONE per ST though!
February 1, 200521 yr because I think nothing about getting up at two in the morning and standing freezing my bollox off sounds just like your yearly strike

February 2, 200521 yr I thought that with the FA cup Final, not many tickets actually go to the fans of the clubs, its all to sponsers of the cup and shite!
February 3, 200521 yr If we get to the semi at Cardiff. What if the club said - Season Ticket holders can have a choice. 1) A guaranteed ticket for the semi. 2) A guaranteed ticket for the final. But not a guaranteed ticket for both. What would you do?
February 3, 200521 yr c) tell em to fook right off and come up with a system rewarding folk who aren't johnny cum fookin latelys and who attend games home and away
February 3, 200521 yr The club must surely come out with a voucher policy for the final? there will be a lot of ST holders who do not go to the semi but then try and go to the final. The priorty (as they still have not got there systems together to actually log who is going to away matches even after last seasons fcuk up) ST with Semi Voucher ST holder Member/Lifeline/Goldline with Semi Voucher Semi Voucher Member/Lifeline/Goldline You would then entice a lot more to go to a semi in Cardiff than normal Ideally - you would get points over a season - 100 points for being a ST. Then so many points per game basis for aways (IE 5 points for Man Ure away - 50 points for Saints away midweek). When tickets are in short supply - you say 1st = over 1000 points 2nd 500 - 1000 etc......... The stumbling block would be You would have to have the technology in place to do this something like teamcard that Cidy have, oh wait we have that too!!!

February 3, 200521 yr [quote="ian ST with a semi ??? too tight for a full hard on. Saving that for when we get to the final :-$
February 3, 200521 yr With a bit of luck we may get to the final now.... http://www.thisisbolton.co.uk/lancashire/b...ERSTOPTOP0.html Forget Premiership, we're after the Cup - SamLast posted: Thursday 3 February 2005 16:17 SAM Allardyce is preparing Wanderers for an all-out assault on the FA Cup. Confident that the Whites are on course for a second successive top-10 finish, the Reebok boss says the Premiership is no longer his top priority this season. Already into the last 16 with a home tie to come, he now sees the cup rather than the league as his best chance of becoming the first manager in history to lead Wanderers into Europe. And he is determined to go for it. "The quickest way to Europe is through the FA Cup and it would be best if we went that way first and focused on that completely," he said in a clear statement of intent. The shift of emphasis is an indication of how dramatically the mood has changed at the Reebok since the turn of the year. Wanderers have gone from despair to delight and now, encouraged by a confidence-breeding, six-match winning streak and with a stronger squad than ever, they are on the glory trail. Suddenly, the manager once maligned for showing disrespect to the game's oldest and most famous knockout competition, has had his appetite whetted. It was ironic that victory over Spurs on Tuesday night should convince Big Sam to change his priorities. For it was hammerings at White Hart Lane in 2001-2002 - 6-0 in the League Cup and 4-0 in the FA Cup - that first sparked criticism of his selection policy. But he was unrepentant. While repeatedly stressing that Premiership survival was his prime objective, he maintained that, even when making wholesale changes, he always picked sides he believed capable of winning ties. The point was illustrated last season when his teams got stronger with every step they took towards the Carling Cup Final. Now, after resting six and five first teamers respectively for the ties at Ipswich and Oldham, it is a safe bet he will pick his strongest line-up for as long as Wanderers remain in the competition - possibly using his rotation policy in Premiership games, while keeping one eye on the ??500,000-a-place merit payments. "The squad has been capable, in terms of the number of players and the right amount of quality, which we have never had before, to get through two rounds away from home, even making half a dozen changes," he said. "And they have deserved to win both games. "Players like Tal Ben Haim and Anthony Barness have stepped in recently and we've done without the massive influence of Radhi Jaidi and our skipper, Jay Jay Okocha. For a while, we did without our main striker, Kevin Davies, but he's back now. "We've had the emergence of Khalilou Fadiga, which is very encouraging and we now have a range of options in attack with Kevin, Henrik Pedersen, El-Hadji Diouf, Kevin Nolan and Ricardo Vaz Te. "There are plenty who can change situations for us and turn a game in our favour. I looked at my bench the other night and saw that I had players I could put on who could influence the game, if need be." Okocha is responding to treatment on the knee injury that forced him to limp out of the win at Blackburn but is not expected to figure at Crystal Palace on Saturday while Nicky Hunt is expected to be out for up to four weeks with the badly-bruised shin and ankle he suffered at Oldham.
February 4, 200521 yr 1 season ticket = 1 final ticket! then after a certain date they go on open sale and if you aint claimed your ticket tough shite!
February 4, 200521 yr Agreed, it's hardly rocket science. Then again, the ticket office will still fcuk such a simple system up!
February 5, 200521 yr after last seasons little f??ck up, wouldnt it have made sense for the club to say 'reyt, if tha's goint owdham, keep owd of thi' ticket coz tha'll need it if wi get tut semis' or sommat similar? same for those who went to palace today, not rocket science is it?
February 6, 200521 yr or, seeing as we know derby/fulham may not be a good turn out, why not say attendance at that game will be a big help in your chances gets a few more through the turnstiles too
February 6, 200521 yr As the semi is at Cardiff, and we will struggle to sell many tickets, they need to say that everyone who goes to the semi will get a final ticket.
February 6, 200521 yr They need to do something about those who knows the "next-door-neighbour of the ticket office manager's grandmother's neice!" There's too much nepotism goes on. Each and every ticket ought to go to a ST holder in the first round of sales.
