i have been told by the club not take beach balls to matches anymore because of complaints. so i would like to ask for peoples opinions on the matter. i havent seen them cause any harm yet or have i missed something? or am i wrong in thinking they are really just a bit of fun which keep people entertained (especially children and the young at heart) and not harming anyone ?

There are always a few moaning old gits at every match who don't like the beachballs. But look at the away Plovdiv and Besiktas matches - everyone had such a laugh with them at the end of the matches.

So a few humourless pricks get irritated - but for 98% of fans (and I'm sure the opposing team fans if they really admit it) it lifts the atmosphere at the game and everyone just has a laugh.

Once again the club are ignoring what the majoity of fans seem to want.
